اور اللہ ہدایت یافتہ افراد کی ہدایت میں اضافہ کردیتا ہے اور باقی رہنے والی نیکیاں آپ کے پروردگار کے نزدیک ثواب اور بازگشت کے اعتبار سے بہترین اور بلند ترین ہیں

اور ہدایت یافتہ لوگوں کو اللہ تعالیٰ ہدایت میں بڑھاتا ہے، اور باقی رہنے والی نیکیاں تیرے رب کے نزدیک ﺛواب کے لحاظ سے اور انجام کے لحاظ سے بہت ہی بہتر ہیں

And they fall down on their chins weeping, and it increaseth them in humility.
اور تھوڑیوں پر روتے ہوئے گرتے ہیں اور ان میں عاجزی زیادہ کر دیتا ہے

And those who are guided He increaseth Unto them guidance, and giveth them their piety.
اور جو لوگ ہدایت یافتہ ہیں ان کو وہ ہدایت مزید بخشتا اور پرہیزگاری عنایت کرتا ہے

We verily have displayed(Our warnings) in this Qur'an that they may take heed, but it increaseth them in naught save aversion.
اور ہم نے اس قرآن میں طرح طرح کی باتیں بیان کی ہیں تاکہ لوگ نصیحت پکڑیں گے۔ مگر وہ اس سے اور بدک جاتے ہیں

Allah obliterateth usury, and increaseth the aims. And Allah loveth not any ingrate sinner.
خدا سود کو نابود(یعنی بےبرکت) کرتا اور خیرات(کی برکت) کو بڑھاتا ہے اور خدا کسی ناشکرے گنہگار کو دوست نہیں رکھتا

And assurelly We have propounded it variously in this Qur'an that they might be admonished, but it increaseth them only in aversion.
ہم نے تو اس قرآن میں ہر ہر طرح بیان فرما دیا کہ لوگ سمجھ جائیں لیکن اس سے انہیں تو نفرت ہی بڑھتی ہے

ان کے دلوں میں بیماری تھی اللہ تعالیٰ نے انہیں بیماری میں مزید بڑھا دیا اور ان کے جھوٹ کی وجہ سے ان کے لئے دردناک عذاب ہے

اور جو ایمان لائے اور عمل نیک کئے ان کی(دعا) قبول فرماتا ہے اور ان کو اپنے فضل سے بڑھاتا ہے۔ اور جو کافر ہیں ان کے لئے سخت عذاب ہے

And We reveal by means of the Qur'an that which is a healing and a mercy unto the believers, and it only increaseth the wrong- doers in loss.
اور ہم قرآن میں ایسی چیزیں نازل کرتے ہیں کہ وہ ایمانداروں کے حق میں شفا اور رحمت ہیں اور ظالموں کو اس سےاور زیادہ نقصان پہنچتا ہے

اس کے برعکس جو لوگ راہِ راست اختیار کرتے ہیں اللہ ان کو راست روی میں ترقی عطا فرماتا ہے اور باقی رہ جانے والی نیکیاں ہی تیرے رب کے نزدیک جزا اور انجام کے اعتبار سے بہتر ہیں

And Allah increaseth in guidance those who let themselves be guided, and the righteous works that last are excellent with thy Lord in respect of reward and excellent in respect of return.*Chapter.
اور جو لوگ ہدایت یاب ہیں خدا ان کو زیادہ ہدایت دیتا ہے۔ اور نیکیاں جو باقی رہنے والی ہیں وہ تمہارے پروردگار کے صلے کے لحاظ سے خوب اور انجام کے اعتبار سے بہتر ہیں

And when it is said unto them: Prostrate to the Beneficent! they say: And what is the Beneficent? Are we to prostrate to whatever thou(Muhammad) biddest us? And it increaseth aversion in them.
اور جب ان سے کہا جاتا ہے کہ رحمان کو سجدہ کرو تو کہتے ہیں کہ یہ رحمان کیا ہے کیا ہم اسے سجدہ کرلیں جس کے بارے میں تم حکم دے رہو اور اس طرح ان کی نفرت میں اور اضافہ ہوجاتا ہے

And whatsoever ye give in gift in order that it may increase among the substance of men increaseth not with Allah; and whatsoever ye give in poor-rate seeking the countenance of Allah-then those: they shall, have increase manifold.
اور تم لوگ جوبھی سود دیتے ہو کہ لوگوں کے مال میں اضافہ ہوجائے تو خدا کے یہاں کوئی اضافہ نہیں ہوتا ہے ہاں جو زکوِٰ دیتے ہو اور اس میں رضائے خدا کا ارادہ ہوتا ہے تو ایسے لوگوں کو دگنا چوگنا دے دیا جاتا ہے

And when it is said unto them: prostrate yourselves unto the Compassionate, they say: and what is the Compassionate? Shall we prostrate ourselves unto that which thou commandest us? And it increaseth in them aversion.
اور جب ان سے کہا جاتا ہے کہ رحمان کو سجدہ کرو تو کہتے ہیں کہ یہ رحمان کیا ہے کیا ہم اسے سجدہ کرلیں جس کے بارے میں تم حکم دے رہو اور اس طرح ان کی نفرت میں اور اضافہ ہوجاتا ہے

And when it is said unto them: prostrate yourselves unto the Compassionate, they say: and what is the Compassionate? Shall we prostrate ourselves unto that which thou commandest us? And it increaseth in them aversion.
ان سے جب بھی کہا جاتا ہے کہ رحمٰن کو سجده کرو تو جواب دیتے ہیں رحمٰن ہے کیا؟ کیا ہم اسے سجده کریں جس کا تو ہمیں حکم دے رہا ہے اور اس(تبلیﻎ) نےان کی نفرت میں مزید اضافہ کردیا

He it is Who hath made you regents in the earth; so he who disbelieveth, his disbelief be on his own head. Their disbelief increaseth for the disbelievers, in their Lord's sight, naught save abhorrence. Their disbelief increaseth for the disbelievers naught save loss.
وہی ہے جس نے تمہیں زمین میں اگلوں کا جانشین کیا تو جو کفر کرے اس کا کفر اسی پر پڑے اور کافروں کو ان کا کفر ان کے رب کے یہاں نہیں بڑھائے گا مگر بیزاری اور کافروں کو ان کا کفر نہ بڑھائے گا مگر نقصان

And when it is said unto them: prostrate yourselves unto the Compassionate, they say: and what is the Compassionate? Shall we prostrate ourselves unto that which thou commandest us? And it increaseth in them aversion.
اور جب ان سے کہا جاتا ہے کہ تم رحمان کو سجدہ کرو تو وہ(منکرینِ حق) کہتے ہیں کہ رحمان کیا(چیز) ہے؟ کیا ہم اسی کو سجدہ کرنے لگ جائیں جس کا آپ ہمیں حکم دے دیں اور اس(حکم) نے انہیں نفرت میں اور بڑھا دیا

Say:"O People of the Book! ye have no ground to stand upon unless ye stand fast by the Law, the Gospel, and all the revelation that has come to you from your Lord." It is the revelation that cometh to thee from thy Lord, that increaseth in most of them their obstinate rebellion and blasphemy. But sorrow thou not over(these) people without Faith.
کہہ دیجئے کہ اے اہل کتاب تمہارا کوئی مذہب نہیں ہے جب تک توریت و انجیل اور جو کچھ پروردگار کی طرف سے نازل ہوا ہے اسے قائم نہ کرو اور جو کچھ آپ کے پاس پروردگار کی طرف سے نازل ہوا ہے وہ ان کی کثیر تعداد کی سرکشی اور کفر میں اضافہ کردے گا تو آپ کافروں کے حال پر رنجیدہ نہ ہوں

And(it was a warning) when we told thee: Lo! thy Lord encompasseth mankind, and We appointed the sight which We showed thee as an ordeal for mankind, and(likewise) the Accursed Tree in the Qur'an. We warn them, but it increaseth them in naught save gross impiety.
اور جب ہم نے تم سے فرمایا کہ سب لوگ تمہارے رب کے قابو میں ہیں اور ہم نے نہ کیا وہ دکھاوا جو تمہیں دکھایا تھا مگر لوگوں کی آزمائش کو اور وہ پیڑ جس پر قرآن میں لعنت ہے اور ہم انہیں ڈراتے ہیں تو انھیں نہیں بڑھتی مگر بڑی سرکشی
