اور وہ کشتی بناتے تھے اور جب اس کی قوم کے سردار اس پر گزرتے اس سے ہنسی کرتے کہتے اگر تم ہم پر ہنستے ہو تو ہم بھی تم پر ہنسیں گے جیسے تم ہنستے ہو

And if thou ask them(O Muhammad) they will say: We did but talk and jest. Say: Was it at Allah and His revelations and His messenger that ye did scoff?
اور اگر تم ان سے دریافت کرو تو کہیں گے کہ ہم یونہی بات چیت اور دل لگی کر رہے تھےکہہ دو کیا الله سے اور اس کی آیتوں سے اور اس کے رسول سے تم ہنسی کرتے تھے?

اور اگر تم ان سے(اس بارے میں) دریافت کرو تو کہیں گے ہم تو یوں ہی بات چیت اور دل لگی کرتے تھے۔ کہو کیا تم خدا اور اس کی آیتوں اور اس کے رسول سے ہنسی کرتے تھے?

The worldly life is made to seem attractive to the disbelievers who scoff at the faithful, but the pious, in the life hereafter, will have a position far above them…”(Quran 2:212).
کافروں کو دنیا کی زندگی بھلی لگتی ہے اور وہ ان لوگوں کا مذاق اڑاتے ہیں جو ایمان لائے حالانکہ جولوگ پرہیزگار ہیں وہ قیامت کے دن ان سے بالاتر ہوں گے سورة البقرة 212

So he began to build the Ark, and whenever leaders of his people passed by, they scoffed at him. He said,"If you are scoffing at us, we shall scoff at you[and your ignorance], just as you scoff at us.
وه(نوح) کشتی بنانے لگے ان کی قوم کے جو سردار ان کے پاس سے گزرتے وه ان کا مذاق اڑاتے، وه کہتے اگر تم ہمارا مذاق اڑاتے ہو تو ہم بھی تم پر ایک دن ہنسیں گے جیسے تم ہم پر ہنستے ہو

The hypocrites fear lest a surah should be revealed concerning them, proclaiming what is in their hearts. Say: Scoff(your fill)! Lo! Allah is disclosing what ye fear.
منافق ڈرتے ہیں کہ ان پر کوئی سورة ایسی اترے جو ان کے دلوں کی چھپی جتادے تم فرماؤ ہنسے جاؤ اللہ کو ضرور ظاہر کرنا ہے جس کا تمہیں ڈر ہے

The worldly life is made to seem attractive to the disbelievers who scoff at the faithful, but the pious, in the life hereafter, will have a position far above them. God grants sustenance(without account) to anyone He wants.
کافروں کو دنیا کی زندگی بھلی لگتی ہے اور وہ ان لوگوں کا مذاق اڑاتے ہیں جو ایمان لائے حالانکہ جولوگ پرہیزگار ہیں وہ قیامت کے دن ان سے بالاتر ہوں گے اور الله جسے چاہے بے حساب رزق دیتا ہے

The life of this world is alluring to those who reject faith, and they scoff at those who believe. But the righteous will be above them on the Day of Resurrection; for Allah bestows His abundance without measure on whom He will.
کافروں کو دنیا کی زندگی بھلی لگتی ہے اور وہ ان لوگوں کا مذاق اڑاتے ہیں جو ایمان لائے حالانکہ جولوگ پرہیزگار ہیں وہ قیامت کے دن ان سے بالاتر ہوں گے اور الله جسے چاہے بے حساب رزق دیتا ہے

Fair-seeming is made the life of the world unto those who disbelieve, and they scoff at those who believe, whereas those who fear God shall be above them on the Day of Resurrection. And Allah provideth whomsoever He listeth without reckoning.
کافروں کو دنیا کی زندگی بھلی لگتی ہے اور وہ ان لوگوں کا مذاق اڑاتے ہیں جو ایمان لائے حالانکہ جولوگ پرہیزگار ہیں وہ قیامت کے دن ان سے بالاتر ہوں گے اور الله جسے چاہے بے حساب رزق دیتا ہے

اصل میں کافروں کے لئے زندگانی دنیا آراستہ کردی گئی ہے اور وہ صاحبانِ ایمان کا مذاق اڑاتے ہیں حالانکہ قیامت کے دن متقی اور پرہیزگار افراد کا درجہ ان سے کہیں زیادہ بالاتر ہوگا اور اللہ جس کو چاہتا ہے بے حساب رزق دیتا ہے
