At its fifty-eighth session, the Commission on Human Rights, in its resolution 2002/24, decided to establish, at its fifty-ninth session, an open-ended working group of the Commission with a view to considering options regarding the elaboration of an optional protocol to the International Covenant on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights.
At the 15th meeting, on 27 June 2006, the Chairperson-Rapporteur of the Open-ended working group established with a view to considering options regarding the elaboration of an optional protocol to the International Covenant on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights, Ms. Catarina de Albuquerque, presented the report of the Working Group prepared for the sixtysecond session of the Commission on Human Rights E/CN.4/2006/47.
At the 27th meeting, on 30 March 2004, Ms. Catarina de Albuquerque, ChairpersonRapporteur of the openended Working Group of the Commission with a view to considering options regarding the elaboration of an optional protocol to the International Covenant on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights, introduced the report of the Working Group E/CN.4/2004/44.
