Tell them,(O Prophet):"Whether you believe in it, or do not believe," but when it is recited to those who were given the knowledge before its revelation, they fall down upon their faces in prostration.
कह दो,"तुम उसे मानो या न मानो, जिन लोगों को इससे पहले ज्ञान दिया गया है, उन्हें जब वह पढ़कर सुनाया जाता है, तो वे ठोड़ियों के बल सजदे में गिर पड़ते है।

Certainly, when it is recited to them, those who were given knowledge before it fall on their faces in prostration, saying,"Glory be to our Lord!
बेशक, जिन लोगों को इस से पूर्व ज्ञान दे दिया गया है, जब उन पर आयात का पाठ किया जाता है, तो वे मुंह के बल सजदे में गिर पड़ते हैं, और कहते हैं, कि हमारा रब बड़ा ही पाक व पाकीज़ा है।!

Say(O Muhammad SAW to them):"Believe in it(the Quran) or do not believe(in it). Verily! Those who were given knowledge before it(the Jews and the Christians like'Abdullah bin Salam and Salman Al-Farisi), when it is recited to them, fall down on their faces in humble prostration.
कह दो,"तुम उसे मानो या न मानो, जिन लोगों को इससे पहले ज्ञान दिया गया है, उन्हें जब वह पढ़कर सुनाया जाता है, तो वे ठोड़ियों के बल सजदे में गिर पड़ते है।

Have they not observed things that Allah has created,(how) their shadows incline to the right and to the left, making prostration unto Allah, and they are lowly?
क्या उन लोगों ने ख़ुदा की मख़लूक़ात में से कोई ऐसी चीज़ नहीं देखी जिसका साया(कभी) दाहिनी तरफ और कभी बायीं तरफ पलटा रहता है कि(गोया) ख़ुदा के सामने सर सजदा है और सब इताअत का इज़हार करते हैं?।

And recall what time We settled Ibrahim in the place of the House, Saying: associate not thou with Me aught, and purify My House for these who circumambulate and those who stand up and those who bow and make prostration.
याद करो जब कि हमने इबराहीम के लिए अल्लाह के घर को ठिकाना बनाया, इस आदेश के साथ कि"मेरे साथ किसी चीज़ को साझी न ठहराना और मेरे घर को तवाफ़(परिक्रमा) करनेवालों और खड़े होने और झुकने और सजदा करनेवालों के लिए पाक-साफ़ रखना।

And have they not observed that the shadows of the things Allah has created incline to the right and to the left, in prostration to Allah, and that they are servile?
क्या उन लोगों ने ख़ुदा की मख़लूक़ात में से कोई ऐसी चीज़ नहीं देखी जिसका साया(कभी) दाहिनी तरफ और कभी बायीं तरफ पलटा रहता है कि(गोया) ख़ुदा के सामने सर सजदा है और सब इताअत का इज़हार करते हैं?।

Say to them,"You may believe in it or not. Those to whom knowledge had been revealed, fall on their faces in prostration when it is recited.
कह दो,"तुम उसे मानो या न मानो, जिन लोगों को इससे पहले ज्ञान दिया गया है, उन्हें जब वह पढ़कर सुनाया जाता है, तो वे ठोड़ियों के बल सजदे में गिर पड़ते है।

He described the main temple as having a stone cube in the center, draped with cloth, and devotees as circumambulating it and making prostration, as is the case with the Kaaba in Mecca.
