നിങ്ങളുടെ പുരുഷസന്താനങ്ങളെ അറുകൊല ചെയ്തുകൊണ്ടും, നിങ്ങളുടെ സ്ത്രീജനങ്ങളെ ജീവിക്കാന്‍ വിട്ടുകൊണ്ടും നിങ്ങള്‍ക്ക് നിഷ്‌ഠൂര മര്‍ദ്ദനമേല്‍പിച്ചുകൊണ്ടിരുന്ന ഫിര്‍ഔന്റെകൂട്ടരില്‍ നിന്ന് നിങ്ങളെ നാം രക്ഷപ്പെടുത്തിയ സന്ദര്‍ഭം( ഓര്‍മിക്കുക.) നിങ്ങളുടെ രക്ഷിതാവിങ്കല്‍നിന്നുള്ള ഒരു വലിയ പരീക്ഷണമാണ് അതിലുണ്ടായിരുന്നത്‌.

But when good befell them they said: This is due to us; and when evil afflicted them, they attributed it to the ill-luck of Musa and those with him; surely their evil fortune is only from Allah but most of them do not know.
