അവര്‍ക്ക്‌ വല്ല ദോഷവും ബാധിച്ചാല്‍ അവര്‍ പറയും; ഇത്‌ നീ കാരണം ഉണ്ടായതാണെന്ന്‌.

They gnawed in solitude, layered with misfortune and misery.
അവർ ഏകാന്തതയുടെ ൽ ഊന്നുവടി, ആപത്ത് പതിത്വവും പടലമുള്ള.

They will say:"our Lord! Our misfortune overwhelmed us, and we became a people astray!

They were echoed in the Nazi party newspaper, Der Sturmer which had the motto“the Jews are our misfortune”.
അത് പ്രസിദ്ധീകരിച്ചവർ നാസി പത്രമായ Der Sturmer- ന്റെ ആപ്തവാക്യവും കൂടി ചേർത്തുവച്ചു:“ The Jews are our misfortune”.

We sent no Prophet to a village but seized its inhabitants with misfortune and adversity in order that they might be humble in supplication.
ഏതൊരു നാട്ടില്‍ നാം പ്രവാചകനെ അയച്ചപ്പോഴും അവിടത്തുകാരെ ദുരിതവും കഷ്ടപ്പാടും കൊണ്ട് നാം പിടികൂടാതിരുന്നിട്ടില്ല. അവര്‍ വിനയമുള്ളവരായിത്തീരാന്‍ വേണ്ടിയത്രെ അത്‌.

കടലില്‍ വെച്ച് നിങ്ങള്‍ക്ക് കഷ്ടത( അപായം) നേരിട്ടാല്‍ അവന്‍ ഒഴികെ, നിങ്ങള്‍ ആരെയെല്ലാം വിളിച്ച് പ്രാര്‍ത്ഥിച്ചിരുന്നുവോ അവര്‍ അപ്രത്യക്ഷരാകും. എന്നാല്‍ നിങ്ങളെ അവന്‍ രക്ഷപ്പെടുത്തി കരയിലെത്തിക്കുമ്പോള്‍ നിങ്ങള്‍ തിരിഞ്ഞുകളയുകയായി. മനുഷ്യന്‍ ഏറെ നന്ദികെട്ടവനായിരിക്കുന്നു.

Prophet(PBUH) warned us:“Do not derive pleasure from your brother's misfortune, for God may well cure him and test you with a tribulation(Tirmidhi 2506).
തെറ്റു ചെയ്‌തതിന്‍റെ പേരില്‍ ഒരാള്‍ മറ്റൊരാളെ പരിഹസിച്ചാല്‍, ആ തെറ്റ്‌ അയാളും ആവര്‍ത്തിച്ചിട്ടല്ലാതെ അല്ലാഹു അയാളെ മരിപ്പിക്കുകയില്ല എന്ന്‌ തിരുനബി മുന്നറിയിപ്പ്‌ നല്‌കിയിട്ടുണ്ട്‌( തിര്‍മിദി 2506).

Then We changed the misfortune into prosperity to the extent that they became numerous and said,“Indeed grief and comfort did reach our ancestors”- so We seized them suddenly in their neglect.
പിന്നീട് നാം അവരുടെ ദുഃസ്ഥിതി സുസ്ഥിതിയാക്കി മാറ്റി. അവര്‍ അഭിവൃദ്ധിപ്പെടുവോളം. അങ്ങനെ അവര്‍ പറഞ്ഞു:" ഞങ്ങളുടെ പൂര്‍വപിതാക്കള്‍ക്കും ദുരിതവും സന്തോഷവുമൊക്കെ ഉണ്ടായിട്ടുണ്ടല്ലോ.” അപ്പോള്‍ പെട്ടെന്ന് നാം അവരെ പിടികൂടി. അവര്‍ക്ക് അതേക്കുറിച്ച് ബോധമുണ്ടായിരുന്നില്ല.

Proclaim,“Call upon those whom you assume besides Allah- so they do not have any power to relieve the misfortune from you nor to avert it.”.
പറയുക: അല്ലാഹുവെക്കൂടാതെ ദൈവങ്ങളെന്ന് നിങ്ങള്‍ വാദിച്ചുവരുന്നവരോട് പ്രാര്‍ഥിച്ചു നോക്കൂ. നിങ്ങളില്‍ നിന്ന് ഒരു ദുരിതവും തട്ടിമാറ്റാനവര്‍ക്കു സാധ്യമല്ല. ഒന്നിനും ഒരു മാറ്റവും വരുത്താന്‍ അവര്‍ക്കാവില്ല.

They will say:"Our Lord! Our misfortune prevailed over us. We were indeed an erring people.
അവര്‍ പറയും: ഞങ്ങളുടെ രക്ഷിതാവേ, ഞങ്ങളുടെ നിര്‍ഭാഗ്യം ഞങ്ങളെ അതിജയിച്ചു കളഞ്ഞു. ഞങ്ങള്‍ വഴിപിഴച്ച ഒരു ജനവിഭാഗമായിപ്പോയി.

His angels keep watch over him in succession(night and day), in front and behind, by God's command. Verily God does not change the state of a people till they change themselves. When God intends misfortune for a people no one can avert it, and no saviour will they have apart from Him.
എല്ലാ ഓരോ മനുഷ്യന്റെയും മുന്നിലും പിന്നിലും അവന്നായി നിയോഗിക്കപ്പെട്ട മേല്‍നോട്ടക്കാരുണ്ട്. അല്ലാഹുവിന്റെ കല്‍പന പ്രകാരം അവരവനെ ശ്രദ്ധിച്ചുകൊണ്ടിരിക്കുന്നു. അല്ലാഹു ഒരു ജനതയുടെയും അവസ്ഥയില്‍ മാറ്റം വരുത്തുകയില്ല; അവര്‍ തങ്ങളുടെ സ്ഥിതി സ്വയം മാറ്റുംവരെ. എന്നാല്‍ അല്ലാഹു ഒരു ജനതക്ക് വല്ല ദുരിതവും വരുത്താനുദ്ദേശിച്ചാല്‍ ആര്‍ക്കും അത് തടുക്കാനാവില്ല. അവനെക്കൂടാതെ അവര്‍ക്ക് രക്ഷകനുമില്ല.

Whatever good happens to you is from Allah; and whatever misfortune smites you is because of your own action. We have sent you to mankind(O Muhammad!) as a Messenger, and Allah is sufficient as a witness.
നന്‍മയായിട്ട് നിനക്ക് എന്തൊന്ന് വന്നുകിട്ടിയാലും അത് അല്ലാഹുവിങ്കല്‍ നിന്നുള്ളതാണ്‌. നിന്നെ ബാധിക്കുന്ന ഏതൊരു ദോഷവും നിന്‍റെ പക്കല്‍ നിന്നുതന്നെ ഉണ്ടാകുന്നതാണ്‌.( നബിയേ,) നിന്നെ നാം മനുഷ്യരിലേക്കുള്ള ദൂതനായിട്ടാണ് നിയോഗിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നത്‌.( അതിന്‌) സാക്ഷിയായി അല്ലാഹു മതി.

When We make people have a taste of Our Mercy, they exult in it; and when any misfortune befalls them in consequence of their deeds, then lo and behold, they despair.
മനുഷ്യര്‍ക്ക് നാം കാരുണ്യം അനുഭവിപ്പിക്കുന്ന പക്ഷം അവര്‍ അതില്‍ ആഹ്ലാദം കൊള്ളുന്നു. തങ്ങളുടെ കൈകള്‍ മുന്‍കൂട്ടിചെയ്തതിന്‍റെ ഫലമായി അവര്‍ക്ക് വല്ല ദോഷവും ബാധിക്കുകയാണെങ്കിലോ അവരതാ ആശയറ്റവരാകുന്നു.

If anything good happens to you they are grieved; if any misfortune befalls you they rejoice at it. But if you remain steadfast and mindful of Allah their designs will not cause you harm. Allah surely encompasses all that they do.
നിങ്ങള്‍ക്ക് വല്ല നേട്ടവും ലഭിക്കുന്ന പക്ഷം അതവര്‍ക്ക് മനഃപ്രയാസമുണ്ടാക്കും. നിങ്ങള്‍ക്ക് വല്ല ദോഷവും നേരിട്ടാല്‍ അവരതില്‍ സന്തോഷിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യും. നിങ്ങള്‍ ക്ഷമിക്കുകയും സൂക്ഷ്മത പാലിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുന്ന പക്ഷം അവരുടെ കുതന്ത്രം നിങ്ങള്‍ക്കൊരു ഉപദ്രവവും വരുത്തുകയില്ല. തീര്‍ച്ചയായും അല്ലാഹു അവരുടെ പ്രവര്‍ത്തനങ്ങളുടെ എല്ലാവശവും അറിയുന്നവനാകുന്നു.

We therefore sent a violent thunderstorm towards them in their days of misfortune, in order to make them taste a disgraceful punishment in the life of this world; and indeed the punishment of the Hereafter is more disgracing, and they will not be helped.
അവസാനം നാം ദുരിതം നിറഞ്ഞ നാളുകളില്‍ അവരുടെ നേരെ അത്യുഗ്രമായ കൊടുങ്കാറ്റയച്ചു. ഐഹികജീവിതത്തില്‍ തന്നെ അവരെ അപമാനകരമായ ശിക്ഷ ആസ്വദിപ്പിക്കാനായിരുന്നു അത്. പരലോകശിക്ഷ ഇതിനെക്കാള്‍ എത്രയോ കൂടുതല്‍ അപമാനകരമാണ്. അവര്‍ക്കെങ്ങുനിന്നും ഒരു സഹായവും കിട്ടുകയില്ല.

They hate to see your success and rejoice if any misfortune befalls you. If you will be patient and pious, their plots can cause no harm to you. God has control over all their actions.
നിങ്ങള്‍ക്ക് വല്ല നേട്ടവും ലഭിക്കുന്ന പക്ഷം അതവര്‍ക്ക് മനഃപ്രയാസമുണ്ടാക്കും. നിങ്ങള്‍ക്ക് വല്ല ദോഷവും നേരിട്ടാല്‍ അവരതില്‍ സന്തോഷിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യും. നിങ്ങള്‍ ക്ഷമിക്കുകയും സൂക്ഷ്മത പാലിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുന്ന പക്ഷം അവരുടെ കുതന്ത്രം നിങ്ങള്‍ക്കൊരു ഉപദ്രവവും വരുത്തുകയില്ല. തീര്‍ച്ചയായും അല്ലാഹു അവരുടെ പ്രവര്‍ത്തനങ്ങളുടെ എല്ലാവശവും അറിയുന്നവനാകുന്നു.
