In no way am I fearful of you, nor do I have any aversion to you.
نہ میں تم سے کوئی اندیشہ رکھوں چالبازی کا

And when it is said unto them: prostrate yourselves unto the Compassionate, they say: and what is the Compassionate? Shall we prostrate ourselves unto that which thou commandest us? And it increaseth in them aversion.
اور جب ان سے کہا جاتا ہے کہ رحمان کو سجدہ کرو تو کہتے ہیں کہ یہ رحمان کیا ہے کیا ہم اسے سجدہ کرلیں جس کے بارے میں تم حکم دے رہو اور اس طرح ان کی نفرت میں اور اضافہ ہوجاتا ہے

But my call has only added to their aversion.
لیکن میری دعوت نے ان کے لئے سوائے بھاگنے کے کچھ زیادہ نہیں کیا

Who shall provide for you if He withholds His sustenance? Nay; but they persist in rebellion and aversion.
اگر اللہ تعالیٰ اپنی روزی روک لے تو بتاؤ کونہے جو پھر تمہیں روزی دے گا؟ بلکہ(کافر) تو سرکشی اور بدکنے پر اڑگئے ہیں

But when a warner did come to them, it increased them in nothing but aversion to the Truth.
پھر جب ان کے پاس ڈرانے والا آیا تو ان میں نفرت کے سوا کسی چیز میں اضافہ نہ ہوا--فاطر٤٢.-- قرآن اس میں اضافہ کرتا ہے

And they swore by Allah with the strongest of their oaths that if there came to them a warner they would be better guided than any of the nations; but when there came to them a warner it increased them in naught but aversion.
اوروہ الله کی پختہ قسمیں کھاتے تھے اگر ان کے پاس کوئی بھی ڈرانے والا آیا تو ہر ایک امت سے زیادہ ہدایت پر ہوں گے پھر جب ان کے پاس ڈرانے والا آیا تو اس سے ان کو اور بھی نفرت بڑھ گئی

When you say to them:"Bow before Ar-Rahman," they say:"What is Ar-Rahman? Should we adore whoever you ask us to?" And their aversion increases further.
اور جب ان سے کہا جائے رحمن کو سجدہ کرو کہتے ہیں رحمن کیا ہے، کیا ہم سجدہ کرلیں جسے تم کہو اور اس حکم نے انہیں اور بدکنا بڑھایا السجدة۔۷

Who is there to give you food in case He withholds His bounty? Yet they persist in rebellion and aversion.
اگر اللہ تعالیٰ اپنی روزی روک لے تو بتاؤ کونہے جو پھر تمہیں روزی دے گا؟ بلکہ(کافر) تو سرکشی اور بدکنے پر اڑگئے ہیں

When they are told:‘Prostrate yourselves before the All-beneficent,' they say,‘What is‘‘the All-beneficent''? Shall we prostrate ourselves before whatever you bid us?' And it increases their aversion.
اور جب ان سے کہا جائے رحمن کو سجدہ کرو کہتے ہیں رحمن کیا ہے، کیا ہم سجدہ کرلیں جسے تم کہو اور اس حکم نے انہیں اور بدکنا بڑھایا السجدة۔۷

ان سے جب بھی کہا جاتا ہے کہ رحمٰن کو سجده کرو تو جواب دیتے ہیں رحمٰن ہے کیا؟ کیا ہم اسے سجده کریں جس کا تو ہمیں حکم دے رہا ہے اور اس(تبلیﻎ) نےان کی نفرت میں مزید اضافہ کردیا

They have sworn by God the most earnest oaths that if a warner came to them, they would be more rightly guided than any one of the nations; but when a warner came to them, it increased them only in aversion.
اور ان کفار نے بڑی زوردار قسم کھائی تھی کہ اگر ان کے پاس کوئی ڈرانے واﻻ آئے تو وه ہر ایک امت سے زیاده ہدایت قبول کرنے والے ہوں۔ پھر جب ان کے پاس ایک پیغمبر آ پہنچے تو بس ان کی نفرت ہی میں اضافہ ہوا

And'they swear by God with a most solemn oath, that if there came a warnet Unto them, they would surely be better guided than any of the other communities. Then when there did come Unto them a warner, it increased in them naught save aversion,-.
اوروہ الله کی پختہ قسمیں کھاتے تھے اگر ان کے پاس کوئی بھی ڈرانے والا آیا تو ہر ایک امت سے زیادہ ہدایت پر ہوں گے پھر جب ان کے پاس ڈرانے والا آیا تو اس سے ان کو اور بھی نفرت بڑھ گئی
