اور باپ جِس نے مُجھے بھیجا ہے اُسی نے میری گواہی دی ہے-تُم نے نہ کبھی اُس کی آواز سُنی ہے اور نہ اُس کی صُورت دیکھی

And the judges shall investigate thoroughly; and if indeed the witness is a false witness, if he has testified falsely against his brother.
اور قاضی خوب تحقیقات کریں اور اگر وہ گواہ جھوٹا نکلے اور اُس نے اپنے بھائی کے خلاف جھوٹی گواہی دی ہو

And this even though a witness from the Children of Israel has testified to the like of it. But he believed, while you waxed arrogant. Verily Allah does not guide such wrong-doers to the Right Way.
تم فرماؤ بھلا دیکھو تو اگر وہ قرآن اللہ کے پاس سے ہو اور تم نے اس کا انکار کیا اور بنی اسرائیل کا ایک گواہ اس پر گواہی دے چکا تو وہ ایمان لایا اور تم نے تکبر کیا بیشک اللہ راہ نہیں دیتا ظالموں کو

In this way, the Father has testified concerning me, although you have neither heard his voice nor seen his face.”.
اور باپ جِس نے مُجھے بھیجا ہے اُسی نے میری گواہی دی ہے-تُم نے نہ کبھی اُس کی آواز سُنی ہے اور نہ اُس کی صُورت دیکھی

Tell them,(O Prophet):“Did you consider(what would be your end) if this Qur'an were indeed from Allah and yet you rejected it? And this even though a witness from the Children of Israel has testified to the like of it. But he believed, while you waxed arrogant. Verily Allah does not guide such wrong-doers to the Right Way.
آپ کہیے کیا تم نے کبھی غور کیا ہے کہ اگر وہ(قرآن) اللہ کی طرف سے ہوا اور تم نے اس کا انکار کیا درآنحالیکہ تم بنی اسرائیل میں سے ایک گواہ اس جیسی(کتاب پر) گواہی دے چکا اور ایمان بھی لا چکا مگر تم نے تکبر کیا؟ بیشک اللہ ظالم لوگوں کو ہدایت نہیں دیتا

And he who has seen has testified, and his testimony is true; and he knows that he tells the truth, so that you may believe.
جِس نے یہ دیکھا ہے اور اُسی نے گواہی دی ہے اور اُس کی گواہی سَچّی ہے اور وہ جانتا ہے کہ سَچ کہتا ہے تاکہ تُم بھی اِیمان لاؤ

Say,"Have you considered: if the Qur'an was from Allah, and you disbelieved in it while a witness from the Children of Israel has testified to something similar and believed while you were arrogant…?" Indeed, Allah does not guide the wrongdoing people.
تم فرماؤ بھلا دیکھو تو اگر وہ قرآن اللہ کے پاس سے ہو اور تم نے اس کا انکار کیا اور بنی اسرائیل کا ایک گواہ اس پر گواہی دے چکا تو وہ ایمان لایا اور تم نے تکبر کیا بیشک اللہ راہ نہیں دیتا ظالموں کو

Allah has testified that there is no other god than him, and the angels and people that are knowledgeable; he is just, there is no god except for him, he is the wise power.
اللہ نے خود شہادت دی ہے کہ اس کے سوا کوئی معبود نہیں اور فرشتوں اور اہل علم نے بھی یہی شہادت دی،وہ عدل قائم کرنے والا ہے، اس کے سوا کوئی معبود نہیں، وہ بڑا غالب آنے والا، حکمت والا ہے

Say,‘Tell me, if it is from Allah and you disbelieve in it, and a witness from the Children of Israel has testified to its like and believed[in it], while you are disdainful[of it]?' Indeed Allah does not guide the wrongdoing lot.
کہو کہ بھلا دیکھو تو اگر یہ(قرآن) خدا کی طرف سے ہو اور تم نے اس سے انکار کیا اور بنی اسرائیل میں سے ایک گواہ اسی طرح کی ایک(کتاب) کی گواہی دے چکا اور ایمان لے آیا اور تم نے سرکشی کی(تو تمہارے ظالم ہونے میں کیا شک ہے)۔ بےشک خدا ظالم لوگوں کو ہدایت نہیں دیتا

تم فرماؤ بھلا دیکھو تو اگر وہ قرآن اللہ کے پاس سے ہو اور تم نے اس کا انکار کیا اور بنی اسرائیل کا ایک گواہ اس پر گواہی دے چکا تو وہ ایمان لایا اور تم نے تکبر کیا بیشک اللہ راہ نہیں دیتا ظالموں کو

فرما دیجئے: ذرا بتاؤ تو اگر یہ(قرآن) اللہ کی طرف سے ہو اور تم نے اس کا انکار کر دیا ہو اور بنی اسرائیل میں سے ایک گواہ(بھی پہلی آسمانی کتابوں سے) اس جیسی کتاب(کے اترنے کے ذکر) پر گواہی دے پھر وہ(اس پر) ایمان(بھی) لایا ہو اور تم(اس کے باوجود) غرور کرتے رہے(تو تمہارا انجام کیا ہوگا؟)، بیشک اللہ ظالم قوم کو ہدایت نہیں فرماتا

For our transgressions against You are many, and our sins have testified against us, for our transgressions are with us, and our iniquities-we know them.
کیونکہ ہماری خطائیں تیرے حضور بہت ہیں اور ہمارے گناہ ہم پر گواہی دیتے ہیں کیونکہ ہماری خطائیں ہمارے ساتھ ہیں اور ہم اپنی بدکرداری کو جانتے ہیں“

And there have not be a few, who have testified to have found what they were seeking.
دیا ہو۔ نہ ان کے اختیار میں ہے کہ جو چاہیں کوشش کر کے ضرور ہی معلوم کر لیا

For our rebellions are multiplied before thee[God], and our sins have testified against us; for our iniquities are with us; and we know our sins.
کیونکہ ہماری خطائیں تیرے حضور بہت ہیں اور ہمارے گناہ ہم پر گواہی دیتے ہیں کیونکہ ہماری خطائیں ہمارے ساتھ ہیں اور ہم اپنی بدکرداری کو جانتے ہیں“
