B it considers that execution of the request is likely to prejudice its sovereignty,security, ordre public or other essential interests.
The application of a rule of the law of any country specified by this Convention may be refused only if such applicationis manifestly incompatible with the public policy("ordre public") of the forum.
(b) if the requested Party considers that execution of the request is likely to prejudice the sovereignty,security, ordre public or other essential interests of its country.
It took the view that those reasons fell within the scope of Article 2(c) of the Convention on Mutual Assistance in Criminal Matters, which allowed a requested State to refuse to execute letters rogatory if it considered that such assistance would be likely to prejudice the sovereignty,the security, the ordre public or other essential interests of the nation.
(b) If the requested Party considers that execution of the request is likely to prejudice its sovereignty,security, ordre public or other essential interests;
Inventions shall be considered unpatentable where theircommercial exploitation would be contrary to ordre public or public morality;
Likewise, this provision did not allowrecourse to be had to general rules of public international law or to German ordre public when examining the admissibility of the action.
In no case shall the provisions of this article be construed so as to impose on one of the Contracting States the obligation to carry out administrative measures at variance with its own laws and administrative practice or which would be contrary to its sovereignty, security,general interests or public policy(ordre public), or to supply information which is not obtainable under its own laws or under the laws of the State requesting it.
