It was not Allâh Who wronged them, but they wronged themselves.".
You lived in the dwellings of those who wronged themselves, and it was made clear to you how We had dealt with them and We gave you many examples.
We have already told you what We have forbidden the Jews. We did not wrong them, they wronged themselves.

But[insolently] they said,"Our Lord, lengthen the distance between our journeys," and wronged themselves, so We made them narrations and dispersed them in total dispersion. Indeed in that are signs for everyone patient and grateful.
We provided you with shade from the clouds and sent down manna and quails as the best pure sustenance for you to eat. They(children of Israel) did not wrong Us but wronged themselves.
But they said,"Our Lord! Make the stages of our journeys longer." Thus they wronged themselves and We made them bygone tales and scattered them throughout the land. There are certainly signs in that for everyone who is steadfast and thankful.
Are they waiting for the angels to come to them, or the fulfillment of your Lord's will? Those who went before them did the same. God did not wrong them; rather they wronged themselves.
The example of what they spend in this worldly life is similar to the freezing cold wind which struck the fields of a nation who wronged themselves, and destroyed it completely; and Allah did not oppress them, but it is they who wronged themselves.
Do the(unbelievers) expect that the angels should descend, or the sentence of your Lord come to pass? So had the people done before them; yet God did not wrong them, they wronged themselves.
So they said,“Our Lord! Make the stage between our journeys longer” and they wronged themselves- We therefore turned them into fables and scattered them completely with adversity; indeed in this are signs for every greatly enduring, most grateful person.
Then We caused the clouds to provide shade for you and sent down for you manna and quails, saying,"Eat the good things We have provided for you." Indeed, they did not wrong Us, but they wronged themselves.
But they said:"O Lord, make the distance between the stages of our journeys longer;" but(by doing so) they wronged themselves. So We turned them into bygone tales, and dispersed them, scattered in all directions. Surely there are signs in this for those who endeavour and are grateful.
Are they(the disbelievers) waiting for the angels and the decree of your Lord to be fulfilled before they believe? The people who lived before them had also done the same thing. God did not do injustice to them, but they wronged themselves.
All the messengers We sent were meant to be obeyed by God's leave. If they had come to you and sought forgiveness from God whenever they wronged themselves, and the Messenger had prayed for forgiveness for them, they would have found that God is ever-forgiving and merciful.
Has not the account of those before them come to them,-- of the people of Noah and'Ad and Thamud, of Abraham and Midian, and all the habitations that were destroyed? Their apostles had come to them with clear proofs; and God did not surely wrong them, they wronged themselves.
But they said:"Our Lord! Place longer distances between our journey-stages": but they wronged themselves(therein). At length We made them as a tale(that is told), and We dispersed them all in scattered fragments. Verily in this are Signs for every(soul that is) patiently constant and grateful.
What they spend in the life of this world is like a frosty wind which smites and destroys the crops of a people who had wronged themselves. God did not wrong them, they wronged themselves.
Did not the news of those before them reach them- the people of Nooh, and the A'ad, and the Thamud- the people of Ibrahim, the people of Madyan and the dwellings that were overturned? Their Noble Messengers had brought clear proofs to them; so it did not befit Allah's Majesty to oppress them, but in fact they wronged themselves.
Have they not travelled on the earth and seen how the others before them had met their end? They were far more powerful than them, furrowed the earth and colonised it far more than they; and their apostles came to them with visible signs. It was surely not for God to wrong them, they wronged themselves.
God does not do the least bit of injustice to anyone but people wrong themselves.
Surely, God does not wrong people at all, but people wrong themselves.
And those who, when they commit a lewd act or wrong themselves with evil, remember Allah and ask forgiveness for their sinsand who forgives sins except Allah?
Do the disbelievers await[anything] except that the angels should come to them or there comes the command of your Lord? Thus did those do before them. And Allah wronged them not, but they had been wronging themselves.
Surely God does not wrong anyone; they wrong themselves.
