Then they said: Our Lord make the distance between our journeys longer. And they wronged themselves. Wherefore We made them by words and dispersed them with a total dispersion. Verily herein are signs for every persevering, grateful persons.

And We blessed him and Isaac, and from their offspring are some gooddoers, and others who clearly wronged themselves.

So they said,“Our Lord! Make the stage between our journeys longer” and they wronged themselves- We therefore turned them into fables and scattered them completely with adversity; indeed in this are signs for every greatly enduring, most grateful person.

We forbade the Jews those things We told you about before. We did not wrong them; rather they wronged themselves.
നിനക്ക് നേരത്തെ നാം വിവരിച്ചുതന്നവ ജൂതന്മാര്‍ക്കും നാം നിഷിദ്ധമാക്കുകയുണ്ടായി. നാം അവരോടൊട്ടും അനീതി ചെയ്തിട്ടില്ല. അവര്‍ തങ്ങളോടു തന്നെ അനീതി ചെയ്യുകയായിരുന്നു.

And We wronged them not but they wronged themselves. So their gods, whom they called upon beside Allah, availed them not in aught, when there came the decree of thy Lord, and they added unto them naught but perdition.
