പലിശ അവര്ക്ക് നിരോധിക്കപ്പെട്ടതായിട്ടും, അവരത് വാങ്ങിയതുകൊണ്ടും, ജനങ്ങളുടെ സ്വത്തുകള് അവര് അന്യായമായി തിന്നതുകൊണ്ടും കൂടിയാണ്( അത് നിഷിദ്ധമാക്കപ്പെട്ടത്.) അവരില് നിന്നുള്ള സത്യനിഷേധികള്ക്ക് നാം വേദനയേറിയ ശിക്ഷ ഒരുക്കിവെച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്.Ignominy shall be their portion wheresoever they are found save(where they grasp) a rope from Allah and a rope from men. They have incurred anger from their Lord, and wretchedness is laid upon them. That is because they used to disbelieve the revelations of Allah,and slew the prophets wrongfully. That is because they were rebellious and used to transgress.

വിശ്വസിച്ചവരേ, മതപണ്ഡിതന്മാരിലും പുരോഹിതന്മാരിലും ഏറെപ്പേരും ജനങ്ങളുടെ ധനം അവിഹിതമായി അനുഭവിക്കുന്നവരാണ്. ജനങ്ങളെ അല്ലാഹുവിന്റെ മാര്ഗതത്തില് നിന്ന് തടയുന്നവരും. സ്വര്ണിവും വെള്ളിയും ശേഖരിച്ചുവെക്കുകയും അവ അല്ലാഹുവിന്റെ മാര്ഗ്ത്തില് ചെലവഴിക്കാതിരിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നവരെ നോവേറിയ ശിക്ഷയെ സംബന്ധിച്ച“ സുവാര്ത്തു” അറിയിക്കുക.And their taking of Riba(usury)though they were forbidden from taking it and their devouring of men's substance wrongfully(bribery, etc.). And We have prepared for the disbelievers among them a painful torment.
പലിശ അവര്ക്ക് നിരോധിക്കപ്പെട്ടതായിട്ടും, അവരത് വാങ്ങിയതുകൊണ്ടും, ജനങ്ങളുടെ സ്വത്തുകള് അവര് അന്യായമായി തിന്നതുകൊണ്ടും കൂടിയാണ്( അത് നിഷിദ്ധമാക്കപ്പെട്ടത്.) അവരില് നിന്നുള്ള സത്യനിഷേധികള്ക്ക് നാം വേദനയേറിയ ശിക്ഷ ഒരുക്കിവെച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്.O you who have faith! Indeed many of the scribes and monks wrongfully eat up the people's wealth, and bar[them] from the way of Allah. Those who treasure up gold and silver, and do not spend it in the way of Allah, inform them of a painful punishment.
സത്യവിശ്വാസികളേ, പണ്ഡിതന്മാരിലും പുരോഹിതന്മാരിലും പെട്ട ധാരാളം പേര് ജനങ്ങളുടെ ധനം അന്യായമായി തിന്നുകയും, അല്ലാഹുവിന്റെ മാര്ഗത്തില് നിന്ന്( അവരെ) തടയുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നു. സ്വര്ണവും വെള്ളിയും നിക്ഷേപമാക്കിവെക്കുകയും, അല്ലാഹുവിന്റെ മാര്ഗത്തില് അത് ചെലവഴിക്കാതിരിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നവരാരോ അവര്ക്ക് വേദനയേറിയ ശിക്ഷയെപ്പറ്റി സന്തോഷവാര്ത്ത അറിയിക്കുക.Undoubtedly Allah heard them who said,“Allah is needy, and we are the wealthy”;We shall keep recorded their saying and their wrongfully martyring of the Prophets; and We shall say,“Taste the punishment of the fire!”.
അല്ലാഹു ദരിദ്രനും നമ്മള് ധനികരുമാണ് എന്ന്പറഞ്ഞവരുടെ വാക്ക് അല്ലാഹു തീര്ച്ചയായും കേട്ടിട്ടുണ്ട്. അവര് ആ പറഞ്ഞതും അവര് പ്രവാചകന്മാരെ അന്യായമായി കൊലപ്പെടുത്തിയതും നാം രേഖപ്പെടുത്തി വെക്കുന്നതാണ്. കത്തിഎരിയുന്ന നരകശിക്ഷ ആസ്വദിച്ചു കൊള്ളുക എന്ന് നാം( അവരോട്) പറയുകയും ചെയ്യും.Yet when He hath delivered them, behold! they rebel in the earth wrongfully. O mankind! Your rebellion is only against yourselves.(Ye have) enjoyment of the life of the world; then unto Us is your return and We shall proclaim unto you what ye used to do.
അങ്ങനെ അല്ലാഹു അവരെ രക്ഷപ്പെടുത്തിയപ്പോള് അവരതാ ന്യായമില്ലാതെ ഭൂമിയില് അതിക്രമം പ്രവര്ത്തിക്കുന്നുഃഏ; മനുഷ്യരേ, നിങ്ങള് ചെയ്യുന്ന അതിക്രമം നിങ്ങള്ക്കെതിരില് തന്നെയായിരിക്കും( ഭവിക്കുക.) ഇഹലോകജീവിതത്തിലെ സുഖാനുഭവം മാത്രമാണ്( അത് വഴി നിങ്ങള്ക്ക് കിട്ടുന്നത്). പിന്നെ നമ്മുടെ അടുത്തേക്കാണ് നിങ്ങളുടെ മടക്കം. അപ്പോള് നിങ്ങള് പ്രവര്ത്തിച്ചു കൊണ്ടിരുന്നതിനെപ്പറ്റി നിങ്ങളെ നാം വിവരമറിയിക്കുന്നതാണ്.And insult not those whom they(disbelievers) worship besides Allah, lest they insult Allah wrongfully without knowledge. Thus We have made fair-seeming to each people its own doings; then to their Lord is their return and He shall then inform them of all that they used to do.
അല്ലാഹുവിനു പുറമെ അവര് വിളിച്ച് പ്രാര്ത്ഥിക്കുന്നവരെ നിങ്ങള് ശകാരിക്കരുത്. അവര് വിവരമില്ലാതെ അതിക്രമമായി അല്ലാഹുവെ ശകാരിക്കാന് അത് കാരണമായേക്കും. അപ്രകാരം ഓരോ വിഭാഗത്തിനും അവരുടെ പ്രവര്ത്തനം നാം ഭംഗിയായി തോന്നിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു. പിന്നീട് അവരുടെ രക്ഷിതാവിങ്കലേക്കാണ് അവരുടെ മടക്കം. അവര് ചെയ്തുകൊണ്ടിരുന്നതിനെപ്പറ്റിയെല്ലാം അപ്പോള് അവന് അവരെ അറിയിക്കുന്നതാണ്.Nevertheless when He has delivered them behold,they are insolent in the earth, wrongfully. O men, your insolence is only against yourselves; the enjoyment of this present life, then unto Us you shall return, then We shall tell you what you were doing.
അങ്ങനെ അല്ലാഹു അവരെ രക്ഷപ്പെടുത്തിയപ്പോള് അവരതാ ന്യായമില്ലാതെ ഭൂമിയില് അതിക്രമം പ്രവര്ത്തിക്കുന്നുഃഏ; മനുഷ്യരേ, നിങ്ങള് ചെയ്യുന്ന അതിക്രമം നിങ്ങള്ക്കെതിരില് തന്നെയായിരിക്കും( ഭവിക്കുക.) ഇഹലോകജീവിതത്തിലെ സുഖാനുഭവം മാത്രമാണ്( അത് വഴി നിങ്ങള്ക്ക് കിട്ടുന്നത്). പിന്നെ നമ്മുടെ അടുത്തേക്കാണ് നിങ്ങളുടെ മടക്കം. അപ്പോള് നിങ്ങള് പ്രവര്ത്തിച്ചു കൊണ്ടിരുന്നതിനെപ്പറ്റി നിങ്ങളെ നാം വിവരമറിയിക്കുന്നതാണ്.And insult not those whom they(disbelievers) worship besides Allah,lest they insult Allah wrongfully without knowledge. Thus We have made fair-seeming to each people its own doings; then to their Lord is their return and He shall then inform them of all that they used to do.
അല്ലാഹുവെക്കൂടാതെ അവര് വിളിച്ചു പ്രാര്ഥിക്കുന്നവയെ നിങ്ങള്ശകാരിക്കരുത്. അങ്ങനെ ചെയ്താല് അവര് തങ്ങളുടെ അറിവില്ലായ്മയാല് അല്ലാഹുവെയും അന്യായമായി ശകാരിക്കും. അവ്വിധം ഓരോ വിഭാഗത്തിനും അവരുടെ ചെയ്തികളെ നാം ചേതോഹരങ്ങളായി തോന്നിപ്പിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു. പിന്നീട് തങ്ങളുടെ നാഥന്റെ അടുത്തേക്കാണ് അവരുടെ മടക്കം. അപ്പോള്, അവര് ചെയ്തുകൊണ്ടിരുന്നതിനെപ്പറ്റിയെല്ലാം അവന് അവരെ വിവരമറിയിക്കും.Believers, it is not lawful for you to inherit women against their will,nor should you detain them wrongfully, so that you may take away a part of what you have given them, unless they are guilty of something clearly outrageous. Live with them in accordance with what is fair and kind; if you dislike them, it may be that you dislike something which God might make a source of abundant good.
സത്യവിശ്വാസികളേ, സ്ത്രീകളെ ബലാല്ക്കാരമായിട്ട് അനന്തരാവകാശ സ്വത്തായി എടുക്കല് നിങ്ങള്ക്ക് അനുവദനീയമല്ല. അവര്ക്ക്( ഭാര്യമാര്ക്ക്)നിങ്ങള് കൊടുത്തിട്ടുള്ളതില് ഒരു ഭാഗം തട്ടിയെടുക്കുവാന് വേണ്ടി നിങ്ങളവരെ മുടക്കിയിടുകയും ചെയ്യരുത്. അവര് പ്രത്യക്ഷമായ വല്ല നീചവൃത്തിയും ചെയ്തെങ്കിലല്ലാതെ. അവരോട് നിങ്ങള് മര്യാദയോടെ സഹവര്ത്തിക്കേണ്ടതുമുണ്ട്. ഇനി നിങ്ങള്ക്കവരോട് വെറുപ്പ് തോന്നുന്ന പക്ഷം( നിങ്ങള് മനസ്സിലാക്കുക) നിങ്ങളൊരു കാര്യം വെറുക്കുകയും അതേകാര്യത്തില് അല്ലാഹു ധാരാളം നന്മ നിശ്ചയിക്കുകയും ചെയ്തെന്ന് വരാം.
