The Interreg IPA Cross- Border Cooperation Program Romania- Serbia.
The research was funded by the European Union Interreg program.
In 1990, the EU created the Interreg programme to foster this cooperation.
The initiative is sponsored by the Italian government as part of the EC's Interreg III initiative.
Albania also is receiving funds via Interreg III for cross-border projects with Italy.
