अलिफ़ लाम राऐ रसूल ये(क़ुरान वह) किताब है जिसकों हमने तुम्हारे पास इसलिए नाज़िल किया है कि तुम लोगों को परवरदिगार के हुक्म से(कुफ्र की) तारीकी से(ईमान की) रौशनी में निकाल लाओ ग़रज़ उसकी राह पर लाओ जो सब पर ग़ालिब और सज़ावार हम्द है।

Say,‘Tell me about those you invoke besides Allah. Show me what[part] of the earth have they created. Do they have any share in the heavens? Bring me a scripture[revealed] before this, or some vestige of[divine] knowledge, if you are truthful.
ऐ रसूल तुम पूछो कि ख़ुदा को छोड़ कर जिनकी तुम इबादत करते हो क्या तुमने उनको देखा है मुझे भी तो दिखाओ कि उन लोगों ने ज़मीन में क्या चीज़े पैदा की हैं या आसमानों(के बनाने) में उनकी शिरकत है तो अगर तुम सच्चे हो तो उससे पहले की कोई किताब(या अगलों के) इल्म का बक़िया हो तो मेरे सामने पेश करो।

Alif. Lam. Ra.(This is) a Scripture which We have revealed unto thee(Muhammad) that thereby thou mayst bring forth mankind from darkness unto light, by the permission of their Lord, unto the path of the Mighty, the Owner of Praise.
अलिफ़॰ लाम॰ रा॰। यह एक किताब है जिसे हमने तुम्हारी ओर अवतरित की है, ताकि तुम मनुष्यों को अँधेरों से निकालकर प्रकाश की ओर ले आओ, उनके रब की अनुमति से प्रभुत्वशाली, प्रशंस्य सत्ता, उस अल्लाह के मार्ग की ओर।

अलिफ़ लाम राऐ रसूल ये(क़ुरान वह) किताब है जिसकों हमने तुम्हारे पास इसलिए नाज़िल किया है कि तुम लोगों को परवरदिगार के हुक्म से(कुफ्र की) तारीकी से(ईमान की) रौशनी में निकाल लाओ ग़रज़ उसकी राह पर लाओ जो सब पर ग़ालिब और सज़ावार हम्द है।

And when there cometh unto them a scripture from Allah, confirming that in their possession- though before that they were asking for a signal triumph over those who disbelieved- and when there cometh unto them that which they know(to be the truth) they disbelieve therein. The curse of Allah is on disbelievers!
और जब उनके पास एक किताब अल्लाह की ओर से आई है जो उसकी पुष्टि करती है जो उनके पास मौजूद है- और इससे पहले तो वे न माननेवाले लोगों पर विजय पाने के इच्छुक रहे है- फिर जब वह चीज़ उनके पास आ गई जिसे वे पहचान भी गए हैं, तो उसका इनकार कर बैठे; तो अल्लाह की फिटकार इनकार करने वालों पर!
