The external study on anti-fraud measures mentioned by the ECA confirmed the fact that managing authorities now assess fraud risks in line with the requirements of the 2014-2020 control framework, determine the readiness of existing internal controls to address the risks associated with different fraud scenarios and identify areas where additional controls are necessary.
