مَیں اُن سے تمثِیلوں میں اِس لِئے باتیں کرتا ہُوں کہ وہ دیکھتے ہُوئے نہیں دیکھتے اور سُنتے ہُوئے نہیں سُنتے اور نہیں سمجھتے

We have given mankind in this Qur'an all manner of parables, so that they may take heed.
اور ہم نے لوگوں کے(سمجھانے کے) لئے اس قرآن میں ہر طرح کی مثالیں بیان کی ہیں تاکہ وہ نصیحت پکڑیں﴿۲۷

These are the parables that We set forth to make people understand. But only those endowed with knowledge will comprehend them.
اور یہ مثالیں ہیں ہم انہیں لوگوں(کے سمجھانے) کے لئے بیان کرتے ہیں، اور انہیں اہلِ علم کے سوا کوئی نہیں سمجھتا

کہ جھاگر خشک ہوکر فنا ہوجاتا ہے، اور جو لوگوں کو فائدہ پہونچانے والا ہے وہ زمین میں باقی رہ جاتا ہے۔ اور خدا اس طرح مثالیں بیان کرتا ہے

It gives its fruit every season by the leave of its Lord. Allah draws these parables for mankind so that they may take admonition.
ہر آن وہ اپنے رب کے حکم سے اپنے پھل دے رہا ہے یہ مثالیں اللہ اس لیے دیتا ہے کہ لوگ اِن سے سبق لیں

That is because those who disbelieve follow falsehood, while those who believe follow the truth from their Lord. Thus does Allah set forth their parables for mankind.
یہ اس لیے کہ کافر باطل کے پیرو ہوئے اور ایمان والوں نے حق کی پیروی کی جو ان کے رب کی طرف سےہے اللہ لوگوں سے ان کے احوال یونہی بیان فرماتا ہے

We have set forth for people in this Koran all manner of parables; the human is the most disputatious of things.
اور ہم نے اس قرآن میں لوگوں(کے سمجھانے) کے لئے طرح طرح کی مثالیں بیان فرمائی ہیں۔ لیکن انسان سب چیزوں سے بڑھ کر جھگڑالو ہے

Indeed we have propounded for mankind all kind of parables in this Qur'an, so that they might understand(yatadhakkarËn)(39: 27).
اور درحقیقت ہم نے لوگوں کے(سمجھانے کے) لئے اس قرآن میں ہر طرح کی مثال بیان کر دی ہے تاکہ وہ نصیحت حاصل کر سکیں،(27

And surely We have explained matters to people in the Qur'an in diverse ways, using all manner of parables. But man is exceedingly contentious.
اور البتہ تحقیق ہم نے اس قرآن میں ان لوگوں کے لیے ہر ایک مثال کو کئی طرح سے بیان کیا ہے اور انسان بڑا ہی جھگڑالو ہے

Indeed We have made propounded unto men all kinds of parables in this Qur'an, so that they might understand(yatadhakkarun)".
اور درحقیقت ہم نے لوگوں کے(سمجھانے کے) لئے اس قرآن میں ہر طرح کی مثال بیان کر دی ہے تاکہ وہ نصیحت حاصل کر سکیں
