اور اس کی نشانیوں میں سے یہ بھی ہے کہ آپ(پہلے) زمین کو خشک(اور بے قدر) دیکھتے ہیں پھر جب ہم اس پر پانی برساتے ہیں تو وہ سرسبز و شاداب ہو جاتی ہے اور نمو پانے لگتی ہے، بے شک وہ ذات جس نے اس(مردہ زمین) کو زندہ کیا ہے یقیناً وہی(روزِ قیامت) مُردوں کو زندہ فرمانے والا ہے۔ بے شک وہ ہر چیز پر خوب قادر ہے

پس سچے وعدہ کے مطابق انہیں خوفناک آواز نے آپکڑا سو ہم نے انہیں خس و خاشاک بنا دیا، پس ظالم قوم کے لئے(ہماری رحمت سے) دوری و محرومی ہے

And[Jesus] entered again into the synagogue; and there was a man there which had a withered hand.
اور وہ عِبادت خانہ میں پِھر داخِل ہُؤا اور وہاں ایک آدمی تھا جِس کا ہاتھ سُوکھا ہُؤا تھا

میرے دِن ڈھکنے والے سایہ کی مانند ہیں۔ اور میَں گھاس کی طرح مُرجھا گیا ہوں

And the king said,'I saw in a dream seven fat kine, and seven lean ones devouring them; likewise seven green ears of corn, and seven withered. My counsellors, pronounce to me upon my dream, if you are expounders of dreams.'.
اور بادشاہ نے کہا میں نے خواب میں دیکھیں سات گائیں فربہ کہ انہیں سات دُبلی گائیں کھارہی ہیں اور سات بالیں ہری اور دوسری سات سوکھی اے درباریو! میرے خواب کا جواب دو اگر تمہیں خواب کی تعبیر آتی ہو

اے یوسف! اے صدیق! ہمیں تعبیر دیجئے سات فربہ گایوں کی جنہیں سات دُبلی کھاتی ہیں اور سات ہری بالیں اور دوسری سات سوکھی شاید میں لوگوں کی طرف لوٹ کر جاؤں شاید وہ آگاہ ہوں

(چنانچہ وہ سیدھا قید خانہ گیا اور کہا) اے یوسف! اے بڑے سچے! ذرا ہمیں اس خواب کی تعبیر بتاؤ کہ سات موٹی تازی گائیں ہیں جنہیں سات دبلی پتلی گائیں کھا رہی ہیں اور سات بالیاں ہری ہیں اور سات سوکھی تاکہ میں ان لوگوں کے پاس جاؤں(اور انہیں جا کر بتاؤں) شاید وہ(تمہاری قدر و منزلت یا تعبیر) جان لیں

(وہ قید خانہ میں پہنچ کر کہنے لگا:) اے یوسف، اے صدقِ مجسّم! آپ ہمیں(اس خواب کی) تعبیر بتا دیں کہ سات فربہ گائیں ہیں جنہیں سات دبلی گائیں کھا رہی ہیں اور سات سبز خوشے ہیں اور دوسرے سات خشک؛ تاکہ میں(یہ تعبیر لے کر) واپس لوگوں کے پاس جاؤں شاید انہیں(آپ کی قدر و منزلت) معلوم ہو جائے

And once the king said:"I have dreamt that there are seven fat cows and seven lean cows are devouring them, and there are seven fresh green ears of corn and seven others dry and withered. My nobles! Tell me what is the interpretation of this dream, if you are well-versed in interpretation of dreams.".
