In the report entitled A Review of Multi-bilateral and Trust-fund Arrangements(DP/FPA/1998/11), it was pointed out that multi-bilateral funding(now termed co-financing) is undertaken within UNFPA as a cross-divisional process wherein the workload is shared by several units, with each unit of the Fund having a specific function to perform in order to ensure that the multi-bilateral(co-financing) arrangement progresses effectively from one stage to the next.
