(In this way) Allah holds many astray, and guides many aright with the same example.
এ দ্বারা আল্লাহ তা' আলা অনেককে বিপথগামী করেন, আবার অনেককে সঠিক পথও প্রদর্শন করেন।

And upon Allah it rests to show the right way, and there are some deviating( ways); and if He please He would certainly guide you all aright.
আর আল ্ লাহ ্ ‌ র উপরেই রয়েছে সরলপথ, আর তাদের কতক হচ ্ ছে বাঁকা। আর তিনি যদি ইচ ্ ছা করতেন তবে তিনি তোমাদের সকলকেই সৎপথে পরিচালিত করতে পারতেন।

Say thou; my Lord hath enjoined equity, and that ye shall set your faces aright at every prostration, and call on Him, making religion pure for Him. Even as He began you; ye shall be brought back.
তুমি বলো--'' আমার প্রভু আদেশ দেন ন্যায় বিচারের, আর তোমাদের মুখ সোজা দাঁড় করো প্রত্যেক সিজদাস্থলে, আর তাঁকে ডাকো তাঁর প্রতি ধর্মে একনিষ্ঠভাবে।'' যেমন তিনি তোমাদের সৃষ্টি করেছিলেন তোমরা সেভাবে ফিরে আসবে।

And when We gave Musa the Book and the distinction that you might walk aright.
আর স ্ মরণ করো! আমরা মূসাকে দিয়েছিলাম ধর ্ মগ ্ রন ্ থ তথা ফুরকান যাতে তোমরা সুপথগামী হতে পার।

And that I should recite the Quran. Therefore whoever goes aright, he goes aright for his own soul, and whoever goes' astray, then say: I am only one of the warners.
এবং যেন আমি কোরআন পাঠ করে শোনাই। পর যে ব ্ যক ্ তি সৎপথে চলে, সে নিজের কল ্ যাণার ্ থেই সৎপথে চলে এবং কেউ পথভ ্ রষ ্ ট হলে আপনি বলে দিন, আমি তো কেবল একজন ভীতি প ্ রদর ্ শনকারী।

And(these devils) turn them away from the way(of Allah) while they think that they are guided aright.
আর নিশ্চয় তারা তাদেরকে সঠিক রাস্তা থেকে দূরে সরিয়ে দেয় যদিও তারা ধারণা করে যে, তারা হেদায়েত প্রাপ্ত”।

There does not reach Allah their flesh nor their blood, but to Him is acceptable the guarding( against evil) on your part; thus has He made them subservient to you, that you may magnify Allah because He has guided you aright; and give good news to those who do good( to others).
এগুলোর গোশত ও রক ্ ত আল ্ লাহর কাছে পৌঁছে না, কিন ্ তু পৌঁছে তাঁর কাছে তোমাদের মনের তাকওয়া। এমনিভাবে তিনি এগুলোকে তোমাদের বশ করে দিয়েছেন, যাতে তোমরা আল ্ লাহর মহত ্ ত ্ ব ঘোষণা কর এ কারণে যে, তিনি তোমাদের পথ প ্ রদর ্ শন করেছেন। সুতরাং সৎকর ্ মশীলদের সুসংবাদ শুনিয়ে দিন।

And lo! verily I am Forgiving toward him who repenteth and believeth and doeth good, and afterward walketh aright.
আর নিঃসন্দেহ আমি তো পরম পরিত্রাণকারী তার জন্য যে ফেরে ও বিশ্বাস স্থাপন করে ও সৎকর্ম কবে, তারপব সঠিক পথে চলে।''।

O people of the Ansār, did I not find you in a state of misguidance then Allah guided you aright through me?
হে আনসারগণ! আমি কি তোমাদেরকে গুমরাহীর মধ্যে লিপ্ত পাইনি, পরে আল্লাহ আমার দ্বারা তোমাদেরকে হিদায়াত দান করেছেন?

He said: Alter her throne for her, we will see whether she follows the right way or is of those who do not go aright.
তিনি বললেন--'' তার সিংহাসনখানা তারজন্য বদলে দাও, আমরা দেখতে চাই সে সৎপথ অবলন্বন করে, না সে তাদের দলের হয় যারা সৎপথে চলে না।''।

Say: Every one( of us) is awaiting, therefore do await: So you will come to know who is the follower of the even path and who goes aright.
তুমি বলো--'' প্রত্যেকেই প্রতীক্ষা করছে, সুতরাং তোমরাও প্রতীক্ষা কর, তাহলে অচিরেই তোমরা জানতে পারবে কারা সঠিক পথের লোক এবং কারা সৎপথে চলেছে।''।

Or say they: He hath invented it? Nay, but it is the Truth from thy Lord, that thou mayst warn a folk to whom no warner came before thee, that haply they may walk aright.
না কি তারা বলে যে তিনি এটি রচনা করেছেন? না, এটি মহাসত ্ য তোমার প ্ রভুর কাছ থেকে যেন তুমি সতর ্ ক করতে পার এমন এক জাতিকে যাদের কাছে তোমরা আগে কোনো সতর ্ ককারী আসেন নি, যাতে তারা সৎপথে চলতে পারে।

I found her and her people adoring the sun instead of Allah, and the Shaitan has made their deeds fair-seeming to them and thus turned them from the way, so they do not go aright.
আর আমি তাকে ও তার লোকদের দেখতে পেলাম তারা আল্লাহ্‌কে বাদ দিয়ে সূর্যকে সিজদা করছে, আর শয়তান তাদের জন্য তাদের ক্রিয়াকলাপ চিত্তাকর্ষক করেছে, কাজেই পথ থেকে সে তাদের সরিয়ে রেখেছে, সুতরাং তারা সৎপথ পাচ্ছে না,--।

They said: Call on your Lord for our sake to make it plain to us what she is, for surely to us the cows are all alike, and if Allah please we shall surely be guided aright.
তারা বললে--“ তোমার প ্ রভুর কাছে আমাদের জন ্ য প ্ রার ্ থনা করো আমাদের তিনি স ্ পষ ্ ট জানিয়ে দিন সেটি কেমন, কারণ সব বাছুর আমাদের কাছে একাকার লাগে, আর আল ্ লাহ ্ যদি ইচ ্ ছা করেন, আমরা নিশ ্ চয় ঠিক পথে চালিত হব।”।

I found her and her people worshipping the sun instead of Allah; and Satan maketh their works fairseeming unto them, and debarreth them from the way( of Truth), so that they go not aright;
আর আমি তাকে ও তার লোকদের দেখতে পেলাম তারা আল্লাহ্‌কে বাদ দিয়ে সূর্যকে সিজদা করছে, আর শয়তান তাদের জন্য তাদের ক্রিয়াকলাপ চিত্তাকর্ষক করেছে, কাজেই পথ থেকে সে তাদের সরিয়ে রেখেছে, সুতরাং তারা সৎপথ পাচ্ছে না,--।
