Shri Krishna Himself said,"Arjuna, One may be desirous of praising by reciting the thousand names.
ஸ்ரீ கிருஷ்ணர் அவரே தெரிவித்தார்," அர்ஜுனா, ஆயிரம் பெயர்கள் சொல்வதனால் புகழ்ந்த ஆவலுள்ள இருக்கல் ஆம்.

ஒரு தூதரையும் அவன்( அனுப்பி வைத்தான்); அவர் அல்லாஹ்வுடைய தெளிவான வசனங்களை உங்களுக்கு ஓதிக் காண்பிக்கிறார், ஈமான் கொண்டு ஸாலிஹான( நல்ல) அமல்கள் செய்பவர்களை இருள்கள் இலிருந்து, ஒளியின் பக்கம் கொண்டு வருவதற்க் ஆக, மேலும் எவர் அல்லாஹ்வின் மீது ஈமான் கொண்டு ஸாலிஹான( நல்ல) அமல் செய்கின்றாரோ அவரை அல்லாஹ் சுவனச் சோலைகளில் பிரவேசிக்கச் செய்கிறான்- அவற்றின் கீழே ஆறுகள் ஓடிக் கொண்டிருக்கின்றன. அவற்றில் அவர்கள் என்றென்ற் உம் இருப்பார்கள், அல்லாஹ் அவர்களுக்குத் திடம் ஆக உணவை அழகாக்கினான்.

And you were not a resident among the people of Madyan, reciting to them Our verses, but We were senders[of this message].
அவர்கள்மீது காலங்கள் பல கடந்து விட்டன அன்றியும் நீர் மத்யன் வாசிகளிடம் வசிக்கவுமில்லை அவர்களுக்கு நம் வசனங்களை நீர் ஓதிக் காண்பிக்கவுமில்லை எனினும் நாம் தூதர்களை அனுப்பி வைப்போராகவே இருந்தோம்.

A Messenger reciting to you the verses, clear verses of Allah, so that he may bring forth those who believe and do good deeds from the darkness into thelight. Whosoever believes in Allah and does good deeds He will admit to Gardens underneath which rivers flow where they shall live for ever and ever. For those, Allah has made a goodly provision.

Among the People of the Scripture is a community standing[in obedience], reciting the verses of Allah during periods of the night and prostrating[in prayer].
வேதத்தையுடையோரில் ஒரு சமுதாயத்தினர்( நேர்மைக்க் ஆக) நிற்கிறார்கள்;. இரவு நேரங்களில் அல்லாஹ்வின் வசனங்களை ஓதுகிறார்கள். இன்னும்( இறைவனுக்கு சிரம்பணிந்து) ஸஜ்தா செய்கிறார்கள்.

An apostle reciting to you the manifest signs of Allah that He may bring out those who have faith and do righteous deeds from darkness into light. And whoever has faith in Allah and does righteous deeds, He shall admit him into gardens with streams running in them, to remain in them forever. Allah has certainly granted him an excellent provision.

And never does your Lord destroy towns until He sends a Noble Messenger to their principal town, reciting Our verses to them; and We never destroy towns unless its people are unjust.
( நபியே!) நம் வசனங்களை அவர்களுக்கு ஓதிக் காண்பிக்கும் தூதர் ஒருவரை அவர்களுடைய தலைநகருக்கு அனுப்பி வைக்காத வரையில் எந்த ஊர்களைய் உம் உம்முடைய இறைவன் அழிப்பவனாக இல்லை மேலும், எந்த ஊரையும் அதன் மக்கள் அக்கிரமக் காரர்கள் ஆக இல்லாத வரையில் நாம் அழிப்போர் ஆகவ் உம் இல்லை.

A Messenger reciting to you the signs of God, clear signs, that He may bring forth those who believe and do righteous deeds from the shadows into the light. Whosoever believes in God, and does righteousness, He will admit him to gardens underneath which rivers flow; therein they shall dwell for ever and ever. God has made for him a goodly provision.

But We brought forth generations, and prolonged unto them was life; nor wast thou a dweller among the people of Madyan, reciting unto them Our revelations; but it is We who were to send.
எனினும்( அவர்களுக்குப் பின்) நாம் அநேக தலைமுறையினர்களை உண்டாக்கினோம்; அவர்கள்மீது காலங்கள் பல கடந்து விட்டன அன்றியும் நீர் மத்யன் வாசிகளிடம் வசிக்கவுமில்லை அவர்களுக்கு நம் வசனங்களை நீர் ஓதிக் காண்பிக்கவுமில்லை எனினும் நாம் தூதர்களை அனுப்பி வைப்போராகவே இருந்தோம்.

It is He who sent among the unlettered a messenger from themselves; reciting His revelations to them, and purifying them, and teaching them the Scripture and wisdom; although they were in obvious error before that.
அவன்தான், எழுத்தறிவில்லா மக்களிடம் அவனுடைய வசனங்களை ஓதிக்காட்டி, அவர்களைப் பரிசுத்தமாக்கி, அவர்களுக்கு வேதத்தையும், ஞானத்தையும் கற்பிக்கும் படியான தூதரை அவர்களிலிருந்த் ஏ அனுப்பி வைத்தான், அவர்களோ, அதற்கு முன்னர் பகிரங்கமான வழிகேட்டில் ஏயே இருந்தனர்.

But We raised many generations after Moses and they lived for many years. You did not dwell with the people of Midian reciting Our revelations to them, but We had certainly sent Messengers to them.
எனினும்( அவர்களுக்குப் பின்) நாம் அநேக தலைமுறையினர்களை உண்டாக்கினோம்; அவர்கள்மீது காலங்கள் பல கடந்து விட்டன அன்றியும் நீர் மத்யன் வாசிகளிடம் வசிக்கவுமில்லை அவர்களுக்கு நம் வசனங்களை நீர் ஓதிக் காண்பிக்கவுமில்லை எனினும் நாம் தூதர்களை அனுப்பி வைப்போராகவே இருந்தோம்.

An apostle reciting Unto you the revelations of Allah as evidences, that he may bring forth those who believe and work righteous works from darknesses into light. And whosoever believeth in Allah and worketh righteously, him He will cause to enter Gardens whereunder rivers flow, as abiders for evermore. Surely Allah hath made for him an excellent provision.
அன்றியும், ஒரு தூதரையும் அவன்( அனுப்பி வைத்தான்); அவர் அல்லாஹ்வுடைய தெளிவான வசனங்களை உங்களுக்கு ஓதிக் காண்பிக்கிறார், ஈமான் கொண்டு ஸாலிஹான( நல்ல) அமல்கள் செய்பவர்களை இருள்கள் இலிருந்து, ஒளியின் பக்கம் கொண்டு வருவதற்க் ஆக, மேலும் எவர் அல்லாஹ்வின் மீது ஈமான் கொண்டு ஸாலிஹான( நல்ல) அமல் செய்கின்றாரோ அவரை அல்லாஹ் சுவனச் சோலைகளில் பிரவேசிக்கச் செய்கிறான்- அவற்றின் கீழே ஆறுகள் ஓடிக் கொண்டிருக்கின்றன. அவற்றில் அவர்கள் என்றென்ற் உம் இருப்பார்கள், அல்லாஹ் அவர்களுக்குத் திடம் ஆக உணவை அழகாக்கினான்.

Nor did your Lord destroy the villages until He had sent a Messenger to its mother village reciting to them Our verses. We never destroyed villages unless their inhabitants were harmdoers.
( நபியே!) நம் வசனங்களை அவர்களுக்கு ஓதிக் காண்பிக்கும் தூதர் ஒருவரை அவர்களுடைய தலைநகருக்கு அனுப்பி வைக்காத வரையில் எந்த ஊர்களைய் உம் உம்முடைய இறைவன் அழிப்பவனாக இல்லை மேலும், எந்த ஊரையும் அதன் மக்கள் அக்கிரமக் காரர்கள் ஆக இல்லாத வரையில் நாம் அழிப்போர் ஆகவ் உம் இல்லை.

They all but attack those who recite Our revelations to them.
அவர்களிடம் நம் வசனங்களை ஓதிக் காட்டுபவர்களை அவர்கள் தாக்கவ் உம் முற்படுவார்கள்.

And recite to them the tiding of Abraham!
இன்னும், நீர் இவர்களுக்கு இப்றாஹீமின் சரிதையைய் உம் ஓதிக் காண்பிப்பீராக!

Recite unto them the story of Abraham:!
நீர் இவர்களுக்கு இப்றாஹீமின் சரிதையைய் உம் ஓதிக் காண்பிப்பீராக!

And recite to them the news of Abraham,!
இன்னும், நீர் இவர்களுக்கு இப்றாஹீமின் சரிதையைய் உம் ஓதிக் காண்பிப்பீராக!

R- Recite the name of God.
J- யாவே கடவுளின் இன்னொரு பெயர்.

WE recite them unto thee with truth.
( நபியே) அவர்களுடைய உண்மையான சரித்திரத்தை நாம் உமக்குக் கூறுகின்றோம்.

Recite: And thy Lord is the Most Generous.
ஓதுவீராக: உம் இறைவன் மாபெரும் கொடையாளி.
