Any beneficiary in a Member State participating in an Interreg programme may be designated as the lead partner.

The composition of the monitoring committee shall take into account the number of participating Member States, third countries,partner countries and OCTs in the Interreg programme concerned.

New CPR, the Commission shall decommit any amount in an Interreg programme which has not been used for pre-financing in accordance with Article 49 or for which a payment application has not been submitted by 26 December of the third calendar year following the year of the budget commitments of the years 2021 to 2026.
