Both amendments are not compatible with Directive 2000/13/EC which excludes from labelling processing aids,i.e. substances which are present in the final product only as technically unavoidable residues and do not have any technological effect on the finished product.
Measures adopted in accordance with paragraph 1 of this Article shall not affect the use, in the Member State concerned,of food and feed containing an adventitious or technically unavoidable presence of genetically modified material which, by application of the thresholds set out in Articles 12 and 24, are not required to be labelled in accordance with this Regulation.
