एक और यह है, किन्तु सरकशों के लिए बहुत बुरा ठिकाना है;!

They said:"Woe to us; surely we were wrong-doers.
कहने लगे,"हाय हमारा दुर्भाग्य! निस्संदेह हम ज़ालिम थे।

No, the wrong-doers(merely) follow their own lusts, being devoid of knowledge.
(28) नहीं, बल्कि ये ज़ालिम तो बिना ज्ञान के अपनी इच्छाओं के पीछे चल पड़े।

For We have truly made it(as) a trial for the wrong-doers.
जिसे हमने यक़ीनन ज़ालिमों की आज़माइश के लिए बनाया है।

And you will see the Wrong-doers, when in sight of the Penalty, say:‘Is there any way to effect a return?'?
तुम ज़ालिमों को देखोगे कि जब वे यातना को देख लेंगे तो कह रहे होंगे,"क्या लौटने का भी कोई मार्ग है?

They said: woe unto us! verily we have been wrong-doers.
कहने लगे,"हाय हमारा दुर्भाग्य! निस्संदेह हम ज़ालिम थे।

He maketh whomsoever He listeth to enter His mercy. And the wrong-doers! for them He hath gotten ready a torment afflective.
जिसको चाहे अपनी रहमत में दाख़िल कर ले और ज़ालिमों के वास्ते उसने दर्दनाक अज़ाब तैयार कर रखा है।

And they do not knowingly deny Our Verses except the wrong-doers.
हमारी आयतों का इनकार तो केवल ज़ालिम ही करते हैं।

In this manner We shall make the wrong-doers friends of each other(in the Hereafter) because they earned evil together in the world.
इसी प्रकार हम अत्याचारियों को एक-दूसरे के लिए(नरक का) साथी बना देंगे, उस कमाई के कारण जो वे करते रहे थे।

They said: Glorified be our Lord! Lo! we have been wrong-doers.
वह बोले हमारा परवरदिगार पाक है बेशक हमीं ही कुसूरवार हैं।

Ghafir-52: The Day on which their excuse shall not benefit the wrong-doers, for them is the Curse and for them is the evil abode.
(उस दिन भी) जिस दिन ज़ालिमों को उनकी माज़ेरत कुछ भी फायदे न देगी और उन पर फिटकार(बरसती) होगी और उनके लिए बहुत बुरा घर(जहन्नुम) है।

They said: Glorified be our Lord! Lo! we have been wrong-doers.
वे पुकार उठे,"महान और उच्च है हमारा रब! निश्चय ही हम ज़ालिम थे।

For the Wrong-doers, their portion is like unto the portion of their fellows(of earlier generations): then let them not ask Me to hasten(that portion)!
अतः जिन लोगों ने ज़ुल्म किया है उनके लिए एक नियत पैमाना है; जैसा उनके साथियों का नियत पैमाना था। अतः वे मुझसे जल्दी न मचाएँ!

They took it(for a god) and they became wrong-doers.
उन लोगों ने उसे(ईश्वर) बना लिया और वस्तुतः वे लोग अत्याचारी थे।

And guard against the mischief that will not only bring punishment to the wrong-doers among you. Know well that Allah is severe in punishment.
बचो उस फ़ितने से जो अपनी लपेट में विशेष रूप से केवल अत्याचारियों को ही नहीं लेगा, जान लो अल्लाह कठोर दंड देनेवाला है।

Whoever of you takes them for friends; these it is that are the wrong-doers.
तुममें से जो कोई उन्हें अपना मित्र बनाएगा, तो ऐसे ही लोग अत्याचारी होंगे।

Our Lord verily whomsoever Thou makest to enter into the Fire, him Thou hast surely humiliated and for the wrong-doers there shall be no helpers.
हमारे रब, तूने जिसे आग में डाला, उसे रुसवा कर दिया। और ऐसे ज़ालिमों का कोई सहायक न होगा।

And whosoever transgresses the limits of Allah, then such are the wrong-doers.".
और जो कोई अल्लाह की सीमाओं का उल्लंघन करे तो ऐसे लोग ही अत्याचारी हैं।

Whoso of you takes them for friends, such are wrong-doers.”.
तुममें से जो कोई उन्हें अपना मित्र बनाएगा, तो ऐसे ही लोग अत्याचारी होंगे।

Who so of you taketh them for friends, such are wrong-doers".
तुममें से जो कोई उन्हें अपना मित्र बनाएगा, तो ऐसे ही लोग अत्याचारी होंगे।

Whosoever of you takes them as allies those are wrong-doers.
और तुम में से जो कोई उनसे मित्रता का नाता जोड़ेगा तो ऐसे ही लोग ज़ालिम होंगे।

But if they desist, then let there be no hostility except against wrong-doers.
अतः यदि वे बाज़ आ जाएँ तो अत्याचारियों के अतिरिक्त किसी के विरुद्ध कोई क़दम उठाना ठीक नहीं।

And as for those who believed and worked righteous works, He shall repay them their hires in full, and Allah loveth not the wrong-doers.
रहे वे लोग जो ईमान लाए और उन्होंने अच्छे कर्म किए उन्हें वह उनका पूरा-पूरा बदला देगा। अल्लाह अत्याचारियों से प्रेम नहीं करता।
