แล้วมีเสียงกล่าวแก่พวกอธรรมว่าพวกท่านจงลิ้มรสการลงโทษอันจีรังเถิดพวกท่านจะไม่ถูกตอบแทนเว้นแต่สิ่งที่พวกท่านขวนขวายไว้เท่านั้น”!

They said:"Woe to us; surely we were wrong-doers.
พวกเขากล่าวว่าโอ้ความหายนะที่เกิดขึ้นแก่เราแท้จริงเรานั้นเป็นผู้อธรรม

Surely they will be of no avail to you against Allah. Indeed the wrong-doers are friends of each other, whereas Allah is the friend of the God-fearing.
แท้จริงพวกเขาไม่อาจจะช่วยเจ้าให้พ้นจากอัลลอฮฺแต่อย่างใดและแท้จริงพวกอธรรมนั้นต่างก็เป็นมิตรซึ่งกันและกันแต่อัลลอฮฺนั้นทรงเป็นผู้คุ้มครองบรรดาผู้ยำเกรง

They said: woe unto us! verily we have been wrong-doers.
พวกเขากล่าวว่าโอ้ความหายนะที่เกิดขึ้นแก่เราแท้จริงเรานั้นเป็นผู้อธรรม

And also the people of Nuh aforetime. Verily they were even greater wrong-doers and more contumacious.
และหมู่ชนของนูหก่อนหน้านี้แท้จริงพวกเขาเป็นผู้อธรรมยิ่งและเป็นผู้ละเมิดยิ่ง

And whoever shall invent a falsehood after that concerning Allah, such will be wrong-doers.
แล้วผู้ใดที่อุปโลกน์ความเท็จให้อัลลอฮ์หลังจากนั้นชนเหล่านี้แหละพวกเขาคือผู้อธรรม

And who could be more wrong-doing than he who either foists a lie on Allah or gives the lie to His signs? Surely such wrong-doers shall not attain success.
และผู้ใดเล่าคือผู้อธรรมยิ่งกว่าผู้ที่อุปโลกน์ความเท็จให้แก่อัลลอฮ์ หรือปฏิเสธบรรดาโองการของพระองค์? แท้จริงบรรดาผู้อธรรมนั้นจะไม่ได้รับความสำเร็จ

Our Lord! Oh, bring us forth from hence! If we return(to evil) then indeed we shall be wrong-doers.
ข้าแต่พระเจ้าของเราพระองค์ทรงโปรดเอาพวกเราออกจากนรกด้วยเถิดถ้าหากเรากลับไปทำความชั่วช้าอีกแน่นอนเราก็เป็นพวกอธรรม

O our Lord! take us forth from it: then if we return, we shall be wrong-doers indeed.
ข้าแต่พระเจ้าของเราพระองค์ทรงโปรดเอาพวกเราออกจากนรกด้วยเถิดถ้าหากเรากลับไปทำความชั่วช้าอีกแน่นอนเราก็เป็นพวกอธรรม

No plea had they, when Our terror came unto them, save that they said: Lo! We were wrong-doers.
มิปรากฏว่าพวกเขาวิงวอนขออื่นใดขณะที่การลงโทษของเราได้มายังพวกเขานอกจากการที่พวกเขากล่าว(สารภาพ)ว่าแท้จริงพวกข้าพระองค์เป็นผู้อธรรม

They said: Glorified be our Lord! Lo! we have been wrong-doers.
พวกเขาจึงกล่าวว่ามหาบริสุทธิ์แห่งพระเจ้าของเราแท้จริงเรานั้นเป็นผู้อธรรม

They said: who hath wrought this to our gods? verily he is of the wrong-doers.
พวกเขากล่าวว่าใครกระทำเช่นนี้กับพระเจ้าของเราแท้จริงเขาผู้นั้นอยู่ในหมู่อธรรมอย่างแน่นอน

Theirs will be a bed of hell, and over them coverings(of hell). Thus do We requite wrong-doers.
สำหรับพวกเขานั้นคือที่นอนจากนรกญะฮันนัม และจากเบื้องบนของพวกเขานั้นมีสิ่งคลุมครอบอยู่และในทำนองนั้นแหละเราจะตอบแทนลงโทษแก่บรรดาผู้อธรรม

And if a breath of the torment of thy Lord were to touch them, they will say: woe unto us! we have been wrong-doers.
และหากการลงโทษเพียงเล็กน้อยจากพระเจ้าของเจ้าประสบกับพวกเขาแน่นอนพวกเขาก็จะกล่าวว่าโอ้ความหายนะแก่เราแท้จริงเราเป็นผู้อธรรม

And assuredly Musa came unto you with evidence, then ye betook the calf after him, and ye were wrong-doers.
และแท้จริงนั้นซาได้นำบรรดาหลักฐานอันชัดเจนมายังพวกเจ้าแล้วแต่พวกเจ้าได้ยึดถือลูกวัวเป็นที่เคารพสักการะ หลังจากเขาและพวกเจ้านี้คือพวกอธรรม

And if a breath of thy Lord's punishment were to touch them, they assuredly would say: Alas for us! Lo! we were wrong-doers.
และหากการลงโทษเพียงเล็กน้อยจากพระเจ้าของเจ้าประสบกับพวกเขาแน่นอนพวกเขาก็จะกล่าวว่าโอ้ความหายนะแก่เราแท้จริงเราเป็นผู้อธรรม

Were only the slightest whiff from your Lord's punishment to touch them, they would cry out:"Woe to us; we were indeed wrong-doers.
และหากการลงโทษเพียงเล็กน้อยจากพระเจ้าของเจ้าประสบกับพวกเขาแน่นอนพวกเขาก็จะกล่าวว่าโอ้ความหายนะแก่เราแท้จริงเราเป็นผู้อธรรม

And one of them who should say: Lo! I am a god beside Him, that one We should repay with hell. Thus We Repay wrong-doers.
และผู้ใดในหมู่พวกเขาที่กล่าวว่าแท้จริงฉันคือพระเจ้าอื่นจากพระองค์” เขาผู้นั้นเราจะตอบแทนลงโทษด้วยนรกเช่นนั้นแหละเราตอบแทนบรรดาผู้อธรรม

And as for those who believe and do good works, He will pay them their wages in full. Allah loveth not wrong-doers.
และส่วนบรรดาผู้ศรัทธาและประกอบสิ่งที่ดีทั้งหลายนั้นพระองค์จะทรงตอบแทนแก่พวกเขาโดยครบถ้วนซึ่งรางวัลของพวกเขาและอัลลอฮ์นั้นไม่ทรงชอบบรรดาผู้อธรรม

Not with thee is aught of the affair: He shall either relent toward them or torment them, for verily they are wrong-doers.
ไม่มีสิ่งใดเป็นสิทธิของเจ้า(มุฮัมมัด) จากกิจการเหล่านั้นหรือไม่ก็พระองค์จะทรงอภัยโทษให้แก่พวกเขาหรือลงโทษพวกเขาเพราะพวกเขานั้นคือผู้อธรรม

But it is clear revelations in the hearts of those who have been given knowledge, and none deny Our revelations save wrong-doers.
มิใช่เช่นนั้นดอกมันคือโองการทั้งหลายอันแจ้งชัดอยู่ในหัวอกของบรรดาผู้ได้รับความรู้และไม่มีผู้ใดปฏิเสธโองการทั้งหลายของเรานอกจากพวกอธรรม

Not for thee,(but for Allah), is the decision: Whether He turn in mercy to them, or punish them; for they are indeed wrong-doers.
ไม่มีสิ่งใดเป็นสิทธิของเจ้า(มุฮัมมัด) จากกิจการเหล่านั้นหรือไม่ก็พระองค์จะทรงอภัยโทษให้แก่พวกเขาหรือลงโทษพวกเขาเพราะพวกเขานั้นคือผู้อธรรม

Aye! it in itself manifest signs in the breasts of those who have been vouchsafed knowledge, and none gainsay Our signs save the wrong-doers.
มิใช่เช่นนั้นดอกมันคือโองการทั้งหลายอันแจ้งชัดอยู่ในหัวอกของบรรดาผู้ได้รับความรู้และไม่มีผู้ใดปฏิเสธโองการทั้งหลายของเรานอกจากพวกอธรรม

And verily there had come unto them a messenger from among them, but they had denied him, and so the torment seized them while they were wrong-doers.
และโดยแน่นอนได้มีร่อซู, ท่านหนึ่งจากหมู่พวกเขามายังพวกเขาแล้วพวกเขาปฏิเสธไม่ยอมเชื่อเขาดังนั้นการลงโทษได้คร่าพวกเขาโดยที่พวกเขาเป็นผู้อธรรม

And assuredly there came to them an apostle from among them, but they belied him, wherefore the torment took hold of them while yet they were wrong-doers.
และโดยแน่นอนได้มีร่อซู, ท่านหนึ่งจากหมู่พวกเขามายังพวกเขาแล้วพวกเขาปฏิเสธไม่ยอมเชื่อเขาดังนั้นการลงโทษได้คร่าพวกเขาโดยที่พวกเขาเป็นผู้อธรรม

The guerdon of an ill-deed is an ill the like thereof. But whosoever pardoneth and amendeth, his wage is the affair of Allah. Lo! He loveth not wrong-doers.
และการตอบแทนความชั่วคือความชั่วเยี่ยงมันแต่ผู้ใดอภัยและไกล่เกลี่ยคืนดีกันรางวัลตอบแทนของเขาอยู่ที่อัลลอฮฺ แท้จริงพระองค์ไม่ชอบบรรดาผู้อธรรม

And when Our messengers brought Abraham the good news, they said: Lo! we are about to destroy the people of that township, for its people are wrong-doers.
และครั้นเมื่อฑูตของเรามะลาอิกะฮฺ ได้มาหาอิบรอฮีมพร้อมด้วยข่าวดีพวกเขากล่าวว่าแท้จริงเราเป็นผู้ทำลายชาวเมืองนี้เพราะว่าชาวเมืองของมันเป็นผู้อธรรม

That will destroy everything by the command of its Lord.” Thereafter nothing was left to be seen except their dwellings. Thus do We requite the wrong-doers.
มันจะทำลายทุกสิ่งตามพระบัญชาของพระเจ้าของมันแล้วพวกเขาก็กลายเป็นไม่มีอะไรให้แลเห็นนอกจากบ้านพักอาศัยของพวกเขาเท่านั้นเช่นนี้แหละเราจะตอบแทนหมู่ชนผู้กระทำผิด

And when Our messengers came unto Ibrahim with the glad tidings, they said: verily we are about to destroy the inhabitants of that city: verily the inhabitants thereof have been wrong-doers.
และครั้นเมื่อฑูตของเรามะลาอิกะฮฺ ได้มาหาอิบรอฮีมพร้อมด้วยข่าวดีพวกเขากล่าวว่าแท้จริงเราเป็นผู้ทำลายชาวเมืองนี้เพราะว่าชาวเมืองของมันเป็นผู้อธรรม
