Recalling that these standards are codified not only in the Law on Personal Data Protection, but also in the Code of Ethics of Serbian Journalists, the Commissioner warned that their frequent disregard and violation was unacceptable. In this regard, Commissioner Rodoljub Sabic also said: Public Announcement, 20.

Такође, и Кодексом новинара Србије дефинисани су професионални и етички стандарди којима се доприноси подизању угледа новинарске професије, промовише залагање за слободу мишљења, говора и изражавања, као и независност медија.
In addition, the Code of Journalists of Serbia defines professional and ethical standards which contribute to raising the reputation of the journalistic profession, promoting advocacy for freedom of thought, speech and expression, as well as the independence of the media.

Подсећајући да су ти стандарди утврђени не само Законом о заштити података о личности већ и Кодексом новинара Србије, Повереник је упозорио да се недопустиво често не остварују и крше. У Смерницама за примену Кодекса новинара Србије у онлајн окружењу, препоручује се да онлајн медији и онлајн издања, без обзира на врсту модерације коју користе, израде правила објављивања кориснички створеног садржаја, у којима ће јасно навести које врсте садржаја( понашања) на својим каналима комуникације не дозвољавају и објаснити како функционише систем модерације.
The Guidelines for the implementation of the Code of Journalists of Serbia in the online environment recommend that online media and online editions, regardless of the type of moderation they use, make rules for publishing user-generated content in which they will clearly state what types of content(behaviour) on their communication channels are not allowed and explain how the moderation system works.

Овај сусрет омогућио је дијалог о важној улози медија у унапређивању родне равноправности и социјалном укључивању осетљивих група, као и о негативним последицама медијског извештавања које није у складу са основним етичким принципима дефинисаним и у Кодексу новинара Србије.
The training was led by journalists Antonela Riha and Tamara Skrozza, with journalists from ten cities across Serbia exchanging their professional experiences. This encounter provided for a dialogue on the important role of media in improving gender equality and social inclusion of vulnerable groups, as well as the negative consequences of media reporting not in accordance with the basic ethical principles as defined in the Code of Journalists of Serbia.

Удружење новинара Србије је затражио од Еулекса, УНМИК-а, Косовске полиције, Тужилаштва за ратне злочине и Суда за ратне злочине да покрену и обнове истраге и јавне кампање како би подстакли појединце да говоре.[ 4] Знакови који позивају на информације о случајевима су уништени када су постављени.[ 5] As of December 2017., од 14 случајева, тужилаштво Косова истражује седам, а три је требало да буду предата Еулексу.
The Association of Journalists of Serbia[sr] has asked of EULEX, UNMIK, Kosovo Police, the War Crimes Prosecution Office and War Crimes Court to initiate and renew investigations and public campaigns to encourage individuals to speak.[4] The signs calling on information about the cases have been destroyed once set up.[5] As of December 2017[update], out of 14 cases, the Kosovo Prosecution is investigating seven and three were to be handed over to EULEX.
