PARABLE in Latin Translation

Hear, then, the parable of the farmer.

Vos ergo audite parabolam seminantis.

Peter answered him,"Explain the parable to us.

Respondens autem Petrus dixit ei edissere nobis parabolam istam.

He told them a parable."See the fig tree, and all the trees.

Et dixit illis similitudinem videte ficulneam et omnes arbores.

Moreover Job continued his parable, and said.

Addidit quoque Iob adsumens parabolam suam et dixit.

He took up his parable, and said,"Rise up, Balak, and hear! Listen to me, you son of Zippor.

At ille adsumpta parabola sua ait sta Balac et ausculta audi fili Sepphor.

Then answered Peter and said unto him, Declare unto us this parable.

He took up his parable, and said,"Balaam the son of Beor says, the man whose eye was closed says;

Adsumpta parabola ait dixit Balaam filius Beor dixit homo cuius obturatus est oculus.

Peter said,"Lord, are you telling this parable for us or for all?"?

Dixit autem Petrus:«Domine, ad nos parabolam hanc dicis an et ad omnes?

And when he was entered into the house from the people,his disciples asked him concerning the parable.

Et cum introisset in domum aturba interrogabant eum discipuli eius parabolam.

Peter said to him,"Lord, are you telling this parable to us, or to everybody?

Ait autem ei Petrus Domine ad nos dicis hanc parabolam an et ad omnes?

This parable spake Jesus unto them: but they understood not what things they were which he spake unto them.

Hoc proverbium dixit eis Iesus illi autem non cognoverunt quid loqueretur eis.

Then Peter said unto him, Lord, speakest thou this parable unto us, or even to all?

Ait autem ei Petrus Domine ad nos dicis hanc parabolam an et ad omnes?

And he spake this parable unto certain which trusted in themselves that they were righteous, and despised others.

Dixit autem et ad quosdam qui in se confidebant tamquam iusti et aspernabantur ceteros parabolam istam.

He said,"How will we liken the Kingdom of God? Or with what parable will we illustrate it?

Et dicebat cui adsimilabimus regnum Dei aut cui parabolae conparabimus illud?

He set another parable before them, saying,"The Kingdom of Heaven is like a man who sowed good seed in his field.

Aliam parabolam proposuit illis dicens simile factum est regnum caelorum homini qui seminavit bonum semen in agro suo.

He said to them,"Doubtless you will tell me this parable,'Physician, heal yourself! Whatever we have heard done at Capernaum, do also here in your hometown.

Et ait illis utique dicetis mihi hanc similitudinem medice cura te ipsum quanta audivimus facta in Capharnaum fac et hic in patria tua.
